Evo 4, my first project car

Got the turbo on today. Its feels really solid but do you guys that have done this before usually install some sort of support bracket from around the turbo flange area to the block? Also I am a bit gutted but theres no way i will be able to run the A/C pump. I was really hoping to keep the A/C on the car. Next is to rotate the compressor housing, install the wastegate and get the oil and the cooling lines sorted for the turbo.

Im more of an advocate of keeping the BS to reduce harmful harmonics / increased engine bearing life

This is the exhaust set up after welding and painting. The wastegate pipe does not fit correctly at the flange as it must have warped when it was getting welded so i will have to cut it up and slightly modify it to fit. Its my bad for not test fitting before paint but oh well. Also have a pic to show the cam cover.

Yea i decided to remove the balance shaft but kept the "race shaft'' as a support for the oil pump. I have read reasons for and against the balance shaft but i guess time will tell.

It has been a few years in the making but the engine is finally done. Next is to clean up the transfer box gearbox and install them along with the clutch and then put the whole assembly into the car. There is still a long way to got after that with intake plumbing fuel system ect.
