STM Evo X V-Band Top-Mount Turbo Kit Build
#17
Just finished up a little fitting that will make everyone's lives a bit easier:
STM -10AN Aluminum Valve Cover Fitting.
This will remove the PCV Valve and will re-use the factory O-ring.
We are also working on a catch can design to put into production for this project, so we have all kinds of fun things coming out soon!
The Valve Cover Fitting is already available online in the Evo X Engine Oil System, and we have all the cool, colored Russell AN fittings and the lightweight, black ProClassic hose available as well if you're plumbing your own.

Catch Can is DONE! I'll have some installed photos up later, but this is ready to rock and available @ www.stmtuned.com!
The fittings and lines are a little different between the metal valve cover and the plastic ones, so make sure you're getting the right one if you're purchasing.
This will mount to the lower radiator support and has easy drain access. Includes everything to bolt on and install.
I have installed turbo kit photos coming up later today, then the mad scientist will tear it down, jig it up, price it out and we should have it available for purchase soon!
STM Metal Valve Cover Set-Up:
STM Plastic Valve Cover Set-Up:
That's the standard un-polished finish. I'll update with a polished can soon also.
Priced at $450 unpolished, $500 polished + $6 shipping to the lower 48 states.
Find them here:

Alright, here's the first round of install! We will still wrap the downpipe with DEI header wrap, so yet even more photos will follow. Right now the guys will take it all apart, jig everything up for production... then we got along with the final details.
For now... enjoy!
And, it does indeed clear the strut bar.

Because this car needed just one more STM part... We busted this out this week also!
The all new STM Lightweight Front Cross Member Brace for the Evolution X is handmade in the USA and weighs less than half the stock brace! Fabricated in-house from cromemoly and steel, then we finish the piece with a durable, gloss powdercoat. Bushings are pressed in and the factory bolts can be re-used for install.
STM Front Cross Member Brace: 2.9 pounds
OEM Cross Member (With Torque Solution Mount): 7 pounds

Progress!!!!!
We have the kit almost completely installed on a X sitting on the dyno and if it ever gets over 0 degrees here in balmy NY... we might just get something accomplished! But for now... feast your eyes!

The silver one ran out of injector, but FIC to the rescue and we have 2150's on the way! The silver one is on E85...
This blue one, however, is on pump gas (93 octane) and made 587 HP and 418 TQ. I wasn't at the shop when it was tuned, but I'll find out who has a video of it. It sounds amazing!!
Double trouble! Both STM Turbo Kits, FP 6466 and Buschur motors.
I love the blue one! What?? It's all stock!
We will have results on the silver one soon!
