STM Evo X V-Band Top-Mount Turbo Kit Build

Vladimir's gorgeous, silver Evo X is in for some work this winter. He's going E85, Buschur built 2.0 and is the test dummy for the new STM V-Band Top-Mount with the FP 6466.

I'll add plenty of photos as we go! Stay tuned.

Does it really need to get any better than that?

^^^^^^^ Very well said

BUT i need to Run a Filter On that FF Kit and you kit Only works on no filter setup

So maybe a top mount with filter option would be very sexy also.

Because I only buy STM Setups

We have a local business here that manufactures air filters for NASCAR and stuff... we keep meaning to get a hold of them and have them make a very small custom filter that could fit to make our kits legal for the Shootout. I'll try and get the boss motivated!!

Well, nevermind on that idea. The air filter will rob power, and being so small, it could potentially come loose and get sucked in. Not worth the chance to put that into production. I'd stick to the clear lexan block off plate to protect from road debris if you're out on the street.

This. I drive my car on the street all the time and I went to home dept and made a block off plate out of clear plexi for a whopping 4 bucks and a half hour of my time

I love the top mount turbo kit. Don't get me wrong FF is sexy too but when you come out west where it gets to be 110 degrees. The FF falls a bit short with half radiator and no AC( for most kits)

It's such a shame that the beautiful manifold is hidden but none the less it looks factory to get that big turbo back in that tight spot , well done.

That looks great, but what about keeping the stock strut bar? Will it clear the the upper intercooler pipe?
