updated the original post with a few pics, finished mocking up the manifold. Plan on finish welding it this week.

manifold is looking good man!..... I didn't know you moved, that explains why we never saw you again

so this will end up being a 2.4l with the 100mm crank/64 block correct?

Yeah Michigan was just temporary, I have family up there. Too cold for me lol. Yup will be a long rod 2.4

update*

Finished up the manifold and pulled the old windowed block out.
I think I might shave and repaint the engine bay but I have not decided for sure yet.

I'd love to see some details when you degree your cams. I've watched Jafro's video on doing it, but it'd be nice to see another take.

Well planned on having the motor in yesterday but I cracked the rear main seal housing...oops

Made quick release brackets for the front bumper.

**update** motor is in and just about finished the exhaust.

those dzuz fasteners for the front of the bumper can you link me please, I have the quick release but I hate having 2 bolts to unscrew each time I want the bumper off...lol

These are the same kind I'm running, with the clip on fastener. I cant remember where I ordered them but these should work. I had them left over from a race bike I built a few years ago.
