Quick update:
Car made excellent power! Unfortunately we hit a small snag, idle is a bit on the rough side. Going to let the evo cool down and see whats causing the trouble. The team will be back at it in the morning. Need to give a special thanks to Scott here. He knows I am getting married next Saturday and will not be able to pick up the car for some time. So to make things easier and less stressful (especially with the wedding) he is going to trailer my evo to me next week. Talk about 1 less thing to worry about! I cannot stress how great Scott, Matt, Jason, Karen and everyone else have been here. Trailering the car will give Kaizen more time to go through everything and not feel rushed. Also will give Scott more time to drive the hell out of it and make sure things are the way they should. What a great guy and team!

This is overdue since I took ownership earlier this month. I officially have my Evo back from Kaizen (@KaizenTuning) and would like to share my experience and some eye candy. For myself who is incredibly picky, Kaizen is the only option when it comes to full service shops! The entire team are fantastic people who make automotive enthusiasts dreams come true. I brought my Evo X in for a pretty extensive build. Full turbo system, cooling, fueling, wheels, braking, suspension and aero (everything from the beginning of the thread). Scott took the time and scrutinized every specific to make sure things were perfect with the build. His team of Karen, Sean, Matt A, Tyler and Jason (and everyone else!) are such great people who truly love what they do. During my build the team sent progress photos and kept me looped in during the entire process (As seen in earlier posts).
When the time came for delivery it coincidentally fell on the eve of my wedding day. As a wedding surprise Scott prepped the car and all my stock parts to be delivered to me rather than having to come and pick up. Keep in mind that I live over 4 hours away! I was and still am blown away at his genuine professionalism, Unfortunately with the wedding craze I could not accept delivery. Scott, being the understanding guy he is, stored my evo personally until I returned from my honeymoon. During which time, he added a few surprises. Tweaked a few items and best of all, had my car professionally photographed. Meant a great deal that he and his team were so proud of the finished product. Needless to say, this helped returning home from the honeymoon MUCH easier.
The day my Evo was delivered and when I officially took ownership, I was jaw-dropped. The finished product has exceeded my expectations. The car makes incredible power and pulls like a freight train. My new Evo is truly a beast and work of art. Thanks again to Scott and the entire Kaizen team!
Now for the eye candy!
The day my Evo left Kaizen. The “farewell shot”!
Will add full specs and dyno sheet up when I can. Until then, enjoy!
