Got them installed over the weekend. Now I just need to figure out the warning light situations - Airbag Maintenance Required warning and the red airbag light. I put a resistor (3.3ohm) on each but was after the car had already been started and driven so not sure if the dealer has to reset it for it to go away or if it'll go away on it's own.

Also, I installed them with sliders and they are about the same height as the stock seats - so that sucks. Wondering if there are different mounts or brackets that would get me lower while keeping sliders, so the wife can drive the car sometimes.

The story of this car seems to be way overtightened nuts & bolts from the previous owner. The car had springs on it and the top strut nuts were about 330lb instead of 33lb - ha! Then I purchased the Ohlins used and the previous owner put the camber plates on insane tight - to the point I had to soak them in PB Blaster for 24hr to get them off. Well, all except one that stripped and then snapped - that was fun /sigh. Ended up having to pull the strut back off to fix it and toss all new bolts in.

Fixed and rolling. Need to roll the fenders now too though.

Also picked up my new seat side mounts today. The bottom rear holes on the Recaro mounts are 4" from the bottom of the bracket while the bottom rear hole of these Planted ones are about 2"! Huge difference. I'll for sure get this installed over the weekend or a night this week if I have time.

So the powder coater was going to re-spray the cover since it's super dark when not in direct light. Before he did we started talking about going a different color instead. Yup, here is what we ended up with. Matches my wheels no I'm happy with it.

Super busy weekend! Started on the 'big install' and got a lot completed. New turbo, downpipe, injectors, LICP, UICP, & test pipe are all installed. Waiting on a few nuts from Mitsu as I needed more since the new turbo has 4 bolts instead of 2 like the stock turbo. Tried to get new ones from Lowes but the outer diameter is to large so a socket won't fit in the manifold holes - doh! Not to mention the nuts/washers are highway robbery at $12 a pop from Mitsu! YEEESHHHH.

Up on the 'lift', lets get the party started

Took the manifold off to get the turbo out the top

Stock downpipe off and new AMS pipe on. Also pulled off the aftermarket test pipe w/ cat and replaced it with a MAP catless test pipe.

Things left to do to get her running:
Fuel Pump
Load Chet's Basemap
Get Nuts From Mitsu Tomorrow
New Intake/BOV lines
Grimmspeed 3 port

Once she's running I'll do the rest of the parts like gauges (ASAP), valve cover, catch can, etc etc. Clutch will wait until this one burns up - probably sooner than later hah.

Got my gauges installed. Not sure how happy I am with the placement. Might end up going with a pillar but will have to see how I like it once it's out on the road.

Also wired up a serial to USB port to assist with logging.

Swapped out plugs.

2 parts were supposed to arrive today so I could get it back on the ground and fired up...yup supposed to. NPT/Hose piece for intake to 3 port which did show up today but the intake to turbo coupler that MAP sent me didn't. They assured me it'd be here today, I offered to pay for overnight or 2 day shipping and they said not to do so as it'd for sure be here today. Booooooo. Now no car this weekend or Monday!

Also not totally happy with the fitment of the upper IC pipe so I might have to adjust that. Doesn't seem to match angles and pushes on some pieces by the right side of the valve cover. Will have to see what I can do here.

Wow, had a big struggle the last 2 weeks. Chet sent me my basemap and I somehow bricked the ECU while flashing it with ECUflash. I sent it off to Chris Carbee to bench it for overnight. He was awesome and benched it, put Chet's basemap on and shipped it back all on the same day, thanks Chris! Got the ECU back, plugged it in and she fired right up! I was worried something was wrong with the new fuel pump since it makes no noise when in the ON position. Luckily it just wasn't started due to the bricked ECU. I've been driving it since this weekend with no issues on the basemap.

However, I'm still having issues but now it's with logging through EvoScan. The data being logged isn't correct, apparently sitting in my garage I'm going 140-300mph....and the wideband isn't showing either (AEM to serial/usb)

I did get my belts in too though thanks to Josh at Virtue Motorsports.

Wideband is now showing in EvoScan but all the other numbers seem way off. For example my speed continues to vary between ~100-300mph (while in my garage).

Do you have the "Golden" definitions for Evoscan? If not, that is likely the issue..

Seeing as how I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to, maybe not? Could you enlighten me please! PM me if it's easier.

Did it. Looks like what logged was actually correct! However, looks like it's missing a good bit of fields over the others. Boost correction ect. Maybe they are just named something else.

Everything is logging correctly. Ended up going and buying a new laptop (didn't own a Windows laptop) because it appears the VM was causing issues with ports and what not.

So my logs have been sent over to Chet for the next update! Woot!!
