Part 2
The gathering of parts!
EFR 7670
Loosely clocked
What a beautiful Turbo
Safety first
Dismantling Cobb bolt-ons
Strut bar, heat shields, and BOV pipe removed
Soaking in PB Blaster
Friend helping out, thanks for friends!
Most useful tools of the day!
Impact tool makes easy work of easy to reach bolts (posed)
Time to go underneath, on Jackstands
Tray removed
Bumper removed
DP Removed
There were a lot of bolts removed between this photo and the next one including the "***** Bolts" (Upper and Lower Turbine Brackets)
Water lines and oil lines were removed as well
Manifold removed
Turbo almost ready to come out, actually I tried to just pull it out like this.
going in for surgery
I removed the housing in the car then it came out very easily
Empty.. lots of space now
Unwrapped the new manifold.. pretty
Nice welds, nice bolts and washers
Test fitting boost resource heat protection, certainly hides the beauty of what's inside. Function first.
Looks different than some that I've seen online, very tight fit, this may be difficult to get on later.

More gold foil wrapping
Test fitting manifold, scratched it a little, should have gotten some tape.. oops.
Test fitting turbo, center section is going to have to be rotated back
Required
Fitting, this coupler is a little too close to that EWG for my liking
More test fitting
Too be continued, I'm pausing right now to see what Full Race can do about the turbo outlet coupler being so close to the external wastegate, I still need to test fit the
dump tubes as well but I need the car back on jackstands for that.
#4
Dump Tubes and Boost Resource DP heat protection
Dump Tubes from the top
Wastegates plumbed, new upper pipe in photo
Valve cover installed
Driven Fabrication Catchcan

Charge piping installed
