Sure does. Man these motor mounts are no joke. At certain frequencies my rear view mirror is useless

And the JDM 5th gear and trans ratios are interesting haha. Its feels like the six speed minus 6th gear.

Haha, the rear view is damn near useless at a point. Its all just vibration induced blur for me.

Are you on stock 4.51 gears? I went 4.11 and liking it.

Stock FD, JDM evo 5th. Not good for mpg, but a usable 5th in terms of ratio/acceleration makes it worth it. Shes no street car at this point.

Current pics of the engine bay. Ordered a smaller air filter as the one that came with the STM custom intake is massive and contacts basically everything.

I would flip the Tbolt clamps around on the intercooler to make sure you can get to them when the bumper is on, looks like you won't be able to with how they're oriented right now.

Congrats on getting it running. I'm going to have Jon lap my new gears in so I don't have to worry about drivetrain break in so much while I'm trying to break in the new motor and get the rings seated.

I'm very familiar with that sheet of paper, I've had more than few drivetrain pieces from Jon in multiple cars

I asked him directly about what he can do to make the new stuff less sensitive to break in procedure because I'll have a new engine that needs the rings seated, and he said he can lap them in with lapping compound to significantly speed up the breakin process. The lapping is not part of his standard process, it's an extra service.

That is a dinky filter, you have to be able to fit something larger than that there? Also, that is going to get a mouth full of hot **** air off the radiator, what are you planning on doing to get it fed fresh air?

Its a bit dinky. I plan on having strictly modified modify the intake and make a bit of a cai/intake box near where the acd pump was. He'll also do the axel back straight pipe at the same time and hopefully the ACD plumbing.

just need to break it in and rack up miles/fluid changes in prep for dyno time after the aforementioned work by SM.

Now with more front bumper. Up to about 70 miles now. I topped off the tacse per Jons inst which are correct. Gotta drive car and refill as it will be low after some driving. Trans and rear end didnt need any. Had to reroute PS cooler lines to between rad and rad support or it wasnt ideal with bumper on. I hate working with PS lines and fluid...

better pic of the air filter too

I would extend that intake pipe, get the filter behind the head light.

Made an appt to see Eric of Strictly Modified. Got a quote to finish ACD plumbing, extend intake/fab intake box, axle-back straight pipe to a 4" tip. Also make a bracket for grimmspeed 3port, fan controller etc.

i also cleaned up some dash wiring and put dash in. And I have a horn again lol. Some pics for fun as car is coming together.

Oh yeah, did another oil change OCD style even though only put about 150miles on her. And breaking car in on 100 octane unleaded. The basemap Devin from Boostin provided is a 93 map. And it runs great out of the box so far. A little weirdness at steady throttle crusing. I think its a SD/Tephra thing. Weather is chilly and coolant temps acceptable with no fan wired right now. Highest ive seen is 190. Feeding it just a little boost and varying revs and gear. Lots of downshifting and keeping motor changing RPM.

not seeing any knock or trouble in evoscan. I did have a p507 I think it was for idle. But SAS mode and biss screw solved it.

Finish ACD plumbing? Why you not finish yourself?
