Havent had time to do much of anything... Did some trimming and mocked up gauges. Also picked up an IRP shifter and got it installed. Needs some adjustment as it has a hard time finding reverse, but again no time to play lately.

In a couple weeks my JDM Fanboi Evo3 arrives on the east coast and I'm taking the 13hr drive to pick it up. Excited

If you're not running a center console I'd also recommend throwing some spacers underneath the shifter. I raised my CAE cage 3" last year and love where it put the knob (just doesn't fit with a center console tho). It's only a couple bucks, I can send you part numbers.

Thanks man. Once the weather is consistent I'll drive it and see how it feels. Also need to find time to get the rest of the SSB bits installed.

How are the hard race ball joints holding up? There is not much data on their longevity so I was wondering how they are working out for you?

I started a thread on ball joint replacements:

No issues to speak of. But I'm prob not a good test case since the car spends most of its time as a garage ornament.

Managed to get the gauges and panel mounted but not yet wired. I think it looks pretty good.

Working on SSB front control arms since I had to put the front of the car on stands. Also have multiple projects going on the Evo 3. The nice thing about having 2 cars and stockpiling parts is there is always a project to play with.

Marc I don't remember what you're running for swaybar endlinks but if you want I can shoot you the parts list to make some really robust adjustable endlinks.

Finally got around to installing bumper quick releases. Much better than having to jack front up to remove the bumper. Was some generic kit on FB and it took some cutting and grinding to fit right. You can also see some of the hammer work/beating Ive been doing to the pinch weld behind the front tire. Gonna pretty it up and shoot some paint at it. Also gonna trim some of the plastic and alum in the side skirt area to help with tire interference.
