Man, I have the same problem with the front seal Brand new oem front cover and seal already installed, I get a few drips under the car every time I drive it. I replaced the pan with a brand new one thinking that's what it was too. Didn't help a bit.. I've just accepted that it's going to have some horsepower sweat and put a drip pan under it for now lol

So, I replaced the oil pump gear seal today. The old one looked fine to be honest. Upon closer inspection I saw that oil was leaking out of this bolt:
I don't recall the service manual ever mentioning that some of the 4G63 blocks have bolt holes tapped into oil galleys. I do remember reading it somewhere here though. I took the bolt out, cleaned it and the hole, applied thread sealant and reinstalled. Only time will tell if the leak is actually gone.
BTW....here is how I torqued the oil pump gear while the front cover was installed. I used an old timing belt and wrapped it like so, using a flat head screw driver to wedge it in place.

Yes, that bolt needs thread sealer on most 4g blocks.

It's 3 or 4 of the EM studs, and that bolt. I've also seen where some people have had the hydraulic tensioner bolts leak oil, not sure if it was actually those, or thenmotor mount bolt though.
I know for sure the FSM tells you to put thread sealer on that motor mount bolt. Not sure about the EM studs though.

Yup, As far as I can tell, the leak has stopped and I have not seen any more oil on the floor under the car. Hopefully it stays that way as I can't stand leaks

Today I also have removed this bolt, was totally covered and soaked in oil. Was nightmare to get to it but managed to do so with my friend.
Cleaned the threads and the bolt, sealed it and now lets see
