Fuel thinned out the oil and when I was cranking the car trying to get it to start. That gummed out the piston in the turbo allowing oil to pass freely and not have any sort of deal in the turbo what so ever and oil passes though everything and out each side of the bearings. At least that's how it was explained to me.

Bright side is every thing will be ok and I keep telling myself that. It will be done right and no one half assing anything like the last shop. There's a video of what happened I'm guessing it didn't load.

Ask for Mundy to tune it on Haltech. Life will be much better. I had some very bad luck with slowmo tuning my car-corey tuned it on aem v2.

So do you just have to get your Turbo rebuild, or buy a new turbo

Thanks for the info on that. I know Corey tunes haltech primarily, but that's good to know. I will talk to them about it when it comes time to tune. Right now I have to get everything I need to get the motor rebuilt and back in the car. They said they penciled me in for later this month so I have some time. Thanks again for the input

As far as I know just a rebuild. The company who did my turbo wanted a vid, the one I was going to post up here for you guys to check out, so I had sent it to them. But before I even got through telling them what went on he blurts out it has to be rebuilt. Then he messaged me and said send the video and we will see what your talking about and we will get back to you.

Corey really doesnt. All his cars are on Aem, or were as of end of last year. Bryan Mundy (Mundytuned) does haltech tuning.

I was super dissapointed in the fit and finish of the tune on Aem. Started the car, it stalled. Tried to drive it cold, and it bucked and stalled. Hit boost cut as soon as I tried. Gave the car back to them and it blew a freeze plug. Just be careful!

I appreciate the feedback. I will try to contact him here shortly and see what he says. I know I asked Corey if he did 5d tuning and he said not really and I kinda want that being it's a street car and I have the ability to do so ya know

Update

Well today my id2600s are on order, and my ets 5" fmic 3" in 3" out is also on order. In a week or 2 I will have crank, rods, and pistons ordered and well on my way for this engine to be ready to go by the 20th or something when they have the car back in the shop to start disassemble.

Hopefully you get the motor parts quickly. I have heard a lot about them being back-ordered or taking ever to ship?
