TheWhiteEvo / Evo 8 Build
Say hello to my 2003 Mitsubishi Evo GSR named Bear.
My love for the Evo began when I feasted my eyes upon the cinematic Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift, typical, I know. I was finally able to get my first Evo right after I turned 21. I gave up my other projects and dove all in. I even picked up a second Evo 8 for a while to daily and rallyx.
When I got the car it was pretty stock except for an intake, exhaust, lowering springs, and a set of Rota wheels. I would frequent to autox events, tried rallyx a few times (highly recommend trying), attended shows with friends, and then I took it to my first ever HPDE event with Friday At The Track at Summit Point Motorsports Park in West Virginia. I honestly can't tell you a better day I have had, it was an absolute blast and I learned so so much that day.
My Evo8 build is purely for me. I love many styles but this is done the way I want. I don't care for a lot of power or high numbers, I just want it to be a fun, good-looking car.
I also recently picked up a 1996 Evo IV that I have also made a build thread for, HERE!

Today marks my 8 year anniversary with this car, well yesterday now because its past midnight. Whoops. I took him out to stretch his legs this morning and snapped some photos.
Please ignore the cleanliness of my engine bay! Haha it is extremely dirty right now.

Honestly, not much else modification-wise. I want to do Fortune Auto 510 coilovers again (had a set and sold them like 5 years ago), carbon side skirt extensions and rear spats, and clean up the engine bay a bit. Eventually Id like a little more power from it so maybe e85 now that it isn't my only car. Driving wise- road rallies, track days, shows, and just enjoy it and try to keep it clean and running.
Thank you! Definitely not perfect, but yeah I prefer it that way! I need to get it out to some more track days this year. I, unfortunately, couldn't make any last year but our local track added some cheaper options to get out and drive this year!
