RMI Reims Blue Evo 6
Not so recently we picked up a Riems blue Evo 6 with 70,000 KM.
Recently started getting some of the work done. Mechanically and body wise.
I believe after some love and hard work it’ll be a pretty desirable car. I believe the color is rare as well
Interior is in really great overall condition. Blue mesh on seat bolsters is still in tip top condition. Few small Ralliart bits to be seen.
Under the bonnet is an untouched 4G63, even has stock air box
PARTS ORDERED:
Excedy clutch kit
F & R brakes
wheel bearings
F & R shock mounts
Rear decal
Rear badge
shift knob
idler control valve
Timing kit

Long needed update:
The clutch, timing kit and other miscallenious jobs are done. New tires are also fitted
After further inspection I had realized this Evo 6 had the full Ralliart treatment back in Japan. This example was equipped with Ralliart wheels, coilovers, exhaust, shift knob, boost gage, oil cap and radiator cap. Very cool to see one an Evolution that is only modified using Dealer/OEM parts.
In regards to the next step on this car, we will be addressing all body work needed. Lots of faded paint and small surface rust that needs some TLC.
Found a cool sheet that breaks down the production numbers for the JDM VI's, I'll attach it. Cool to know I own one of 572 Reim's blue cars

Evoryder - I will try and get some photos for a before and after, worst thing about these flashy colors is the fading paint

After discovering the fuel gauge didn't work, one of our techs did some trouble shooting.
Turned out the fuel gauge sender unit was faulty. So I ordered a new one, also got a few spares so if anybody needs one (Evo 4-6).

As promised I would photograph some of the areas where body work is needed, please excuse all the dirt and green. I haven't had time to wash it
