Nice Car. I assume since you are selling it you like the evo better? Which is faster? Just curious I always thought those cars looked good but never drove one.

The Z is faster, the Evo handled and braked better!

In all fairness the Zs Dunlop SP8000 tires aren't up to par with the Yokohoma Advans on the Evo, though.

Work done on the car:

Turbos blueprinted and Extrude-honed for lightness.
Jim Wolf ECU upgrade (adds 60hp)
Jim Wolf intake (adds 15-20hp)

New stock shocks (with electronic control from cockpit).
Eibach lowering springs.
Newly re-chromed wheels.
New Air Conditioner compressor.($1000+ sheesh).
New front brake disks.
Semi-new rear tires (Dunlop SP8000s).
Newly re-leathered steering wheel.
New windshield.
Just had 120k service done [timing belt replacement, water pump, etc. also added Unorthodox lightened pulley while they did the timing belt (15-20hp)]
The driver's seat was re-upholstered about 3 years ago (not nearly as supportive as the Evo's though!)

I was in the process of restoring the car but at this point we really need another 4 seater car for the kids.

The paint is showing it's age in some places, not bad at all though.

Car drives almost like new.

It's in need of a good home!

Yea, I'd also like to know how a modified z compares to the evo. I've driven a stock TT 300zx and the car definately has potential. Is the z's suspension stock?

I think they are just over 3600 pounds.

Doesn't feel heavy at all.

Even with stock 300 horsepower, the car is very agile.

With 380hp, you'll be glad you have a little more heft if you ever get in an accident.

I feel sorry for someone who gets into a wreck in a very small or light car!

These cars are top end monsters and make loads of torque. Mr friend Ralph has one with 350whp and 390 whtq, along with my friend shawn who has one with 670whp and 710 lb/ft. Crazy top end monsters these cars are.

Yes.

Whereas in the Evo the power drops off after 5000 rpms (or stays consistent if you have cams), the Z has a notable increase in power!

I am asking $12,500.

It currently has 123k miles.

I just had the shocks and springs and 120k service done otherwise I would have let it go for about $10,500.

The pictures were taken before I had the Eibach lowering springs put in so the car is about 1" lower in the front now.
