trade me for my 03 cobra its worth 30,000ish to me & is still prolly faster in the 1/4 mile (on pump it ran 11.4 @120 the same day, roughly 480hp)

that guy was stupid for selling his car for 23K or he had a real financial hardship which force a sale. 27K is a fair price for one of the best handling cars in the world. not only that this is the last year for the infamous body style. good luck with the sale and don't settle for some low ball B.S

Equal launch and my car will pull once we get into 4th. Whp-weight ratio is a lil in my favor. Would be a close race regardless though. With a 1.7 60 ft I am expecting 11.4 at 122 mph. My 11.6s at 122 mph were with 1.8 + 60fts and a tranny,open diff, and clutch that were on their last leg. I respect the Cobra like no other car but my Evo in its current state of tune ownz at overall performance. However, the KB,Whippled, ported apten with Nos etc will own me in a straight but hey u can't win them all.

So, nobody is willing to get ahold of a clean *** Evo for just over $26k?? Its a sad day in the world. Seriously though, I need to sell it.

Unfortunately, a lot of these cars are bought by kids who modify and abuse them. Regardless of how well this car has been taken care of, I wouldn't touch a used EVO for any price.

yeah.. he was stupid for selling it for 23K. The fact is the internet ruins pricing. It doesnt matter what a person on one country can sell the car for.. its completely different from buying it in another part of the country, or a different city even. If your selling an evo cheap you must be desperate. I paid 25,500 for an 03 with 38K and they were asking 28500.

These cars were made to be pounded on. The 4G63 is one of the strongest 4cyl motors out there. My weak 7bolt eclipse motor has been beat on for 130K miles and its still going strong. The stock clutch is really the only wear item. Tranny and xfer case are covered by warranty. What are you so worried about?

You're gonna end up side down on this deal if you have to move it that fast. I sat on mine for three months and Jeske was the only serious person with cash in hand. To many kids got into these cars and didn't realize the true cost to maintain and run them and now they've gotta get out at any cost, hence the low prices we're seeing here.

03/04 evo's are regularly going for 21k in vegas (in good numbers) if you have some special angle you should be able to get more (mods, or a color someone is willing to pay for) the value of these cars is really being gutted by a lot of factors. they aren't holding value, so if you really want 26k+ for it, your gonna have to sell it the right way.
