Sold - '03 Ww Evo 8 - Mi
Well,
As you may have read in the other FS forums my wife has been given the opportunity to take a foreign assignment in Brazil. We are slated to leave Jan-Feb of next year and we will be gone for 2-3 years.
So what does this mean to you? It means I have to sell the car. Bad for me, good for you. I would like to try and sell the car without pulling the mods off first. If that doesn't work out then I will start pulling things off in the next couple weeks.
Here is the low down:
2003 WW
Just under 25000 miles
Vishnu cam gears
HKS 272 i/e CAMs
Megan - 3" TBE
Exedy Base Organic Clutch - (rated at about 350 I believe)
Walboro 255
Dynoflash w/o boost contoller (does not see over 1.4 bar - 20.5 psi)
Buschur O2 Simulator
Blitz Turbo timer w/boost gauge
Brembo cross drilled rotors - front only
Hawk HPS pads front/rear
EVODAVE MR style Tail Lights
H&R Lowering Springs
Set of one season old snow tires (80 percent of tread left)
General condition of the car - I would call it a 8.5-9 out of 10.
- One small paint chip on driver's side a-pillar.
- Some black soot on bumper around exhaust (Otherwise body is perfect)
- A small scuff on the shifter plate of the interior (passenger side)
- One small spot on the driver's seat (otherwise interior is perfect)
- Summer tires are just about done (10-15% of tread left)
It is a daily driven vehicle that i haul my 4 year old twins around in. Never been raced, maticulously maitained with oil changes every 2500-3500 miles, just changed the trans and diff case fluids 1000 miles ago. I put down towels in the back seat and floor so the twins haven't even touched 'em (brand spanking new).
All the stock parts will be included.
Based on what I have seen here on EVOM I would say $22K is a good place to start. Please PM me with any questions and offers.
I am in Beverly Hills, MI a suburb just outside of Detroit. To give you an idea of where I am at.
Thank you,
UncleXSO

Very tempting piece of machinery you have there. I may send you a PM here with some more questions. mainly, did you have it dyno'd? are you an autocrosser? or drag racer? inquiring minds want to know, heheh

It has not been dyno'd. But conservatively I would say it's probably putting down 260-270 AWDhp on 93 octane. I had it dyno'd back in the day with out cams and 100 0ctane fuel and it put down 280awhp on a Mustang Dyno. This thing has never seen a race track of any kind. It is a daily driven baby carrier. In fact I opted out of the boost controller option once I learned AL could control the boost with his Dynoflash. I sold my brand new in the box boost controller to AL the day he tuned my car. The car does not see over 1.4bar (20.5-21 psi) on the Blitz boost gauge/turbo timer.
And just as an FYI. She looks ok in the pics but this was a hurried cleaning so I could take pics before the sun went down. I usually clean her up all nice and perty before she goes out. With the rain and the falling leaves she's a little tougher keep clean.
