I hate to do this......Portland people please read
I'd hate to do this, but I'm moving to Portland, Oregon in January and was thinking of selling my car. It's a very well taken care of, garaged kept beauty. Waxed regularly and driven gently with 34,000 miles. I love this car to death!
And from what I've heard from people in Portland, you really don't need a car. Atleast if you live in the city. I will be in the city. The Pearl District to be exact. Looks like the city also provides free public transportation and encourages pedestrian/bicyclist traffic.
Now the big question is.......should I sell my car now or wait 'til January when I move??? I could sell it now and perhaps get a little more on it since Jan is about 5 months away and some depreciation might occur. I could also sell it 5 months from now and enjoy it 'til then and take slightly less for it.
Decisions, decisions......
Also, any idea what I could get for this car??? What would be a good starting price to post up on EvoM.net, Ebay, etc.? Would it be better/easier to sell in Portland or in Tampa, FL?
P.S. If anyone from Portland can provide me with some feedback, resources, etc. It would be greatly appreciated. I've never been to Portland, but will be attending school there at the end of the year and perhaps visiting in/or around September prior to moving.
THanks!
Here's a pic of my babeeee.......
