My EVO really has to go. I don't have time for it since we're moving to a new building I'm pretty much screwed for the next few months.
A few things changed since last time. I wanted to make a drag car out of it so a different motor went in but I never got the car dialed in yet, too many project and not enough time.
things that changed:
Suspension is now stock.
AEM boost control
Turbo kit is now a GT35R kit
Tial BOV now with a AMS intake manifold & Q45 TB
1200 cc/min injectors
AMS fuel surge tanks with inline 255lph walbro
GSC 280 cams
Headgames Ported head with 1mm over valves
8:1 compression ross pistons
Groden AL rods
o-ringed block with ARP head studs & main studs
Motor came from our Drag car that we originally built a few years ago and ran for half a season (when it ran high 9's). New bearings & headgasket were installed before I put it in my car.
Car made 565whp on 32psi of boost through full exhaust. It only has a 3.5bar maps sensor but I'm guessing it would make about 600-610whp at 36-37psi. With our race core and exhaust dropped it would probably top out at 630-640whp which is pretty much maxing the GT35R out. Again, it's not at it's peak now but you see what needs to be done to make the most out of it.
