MA: '93 Mazda RX7 R1 w/LS1

My friend Pete is selling his RX7. You can e-mail him at petemcparland@hotmail.com The car is located in Shrewsbury, MA 01545.

'93 Mazda RX-7 R1. The car is in good condition and runs great. It has a clean title and carfax. There are a few minor blemishes in the paint and body, but over all its very good. All systems work perfectly. No A/C or power steering for weight savings and road feel. 93k miles on the chassis and 39k miles on the motor and transmission.

All work (besides exhaust) has been done by myself. I'm an ASE Master Tech, not a shade tree mechanic. I set it up as a great weekend car and track toy. I only got the chance to bring it to the track twice this year. It had never been tracked previous to those two days. I'm also not a very aggressive or abusive driver. (I'm still on the orig. clutch on my WRX with 25+ track days and 80k miles)

Nice car, what kind of gas mileage does it get. I heard that these conversions are pretty fuel efficient.

IIRC the 8.5's are 40et and the 9.5's are 38et.

The car gets about 24-26mpg city and 28-30 highway. It made it from Southern NH to Mt. Tremblant (500+ mi.) on one tank pulling a trialer with a huge tool box and the race wheels.

The car has three mufflers on it total. There are two 2.5" Magnaflows before a Burns Stainless 2x2.5" to 3.5" Y.

Please e-mail Pete at petemcparland @ hotmail.com if you are serious about buying the car. Do not reply to this thread or PM me.

I'm not a buyer, but I'm a fan. Definitely could see selling my Evo someday for something like this.

Free bump!
