04 Sti 500+hp still for sale :)
Ok I am going to more aggressively sale this car now. I have not been in a huge hurry but now time is crunching on me a bit. I am selling this car only because I have purchased and AC cobra replica kit and am building that. I have both cars sitting in my garage now. The car is currently in kansas. I had it detuned for 91 octane. Doug from topspeed road tuned it for me so not sure what power I am making now. I would say it is about 500hp to the crank now.
Originally the car was roughly about 700hp to the crank. I have not had the car tuned for race gas plus methanol but it when tuned for 93 octane and methanol the car did 592 whp. You want the full power again, just buy a utec and get it retuned. Everything else is there for you to do it.
The car has about 45k miles on it but only about 4500 miles since all these mods were done. It has never been smoked in and always garage kept.
The car was featured in the febuary 2006 edition of "Subiesport" in a 5 page color article.
The car does not throw a check engine light and is daily drivable with cruise and ac, etc
The car runs like a champ!!!
The car has the following mods and well over 15k invested in it.
S3L shortblock built by crawford performance. (forged pistons and crank, Pueter rods) The block has about 4500 miles on it now.
Garrett Gt35r turbo custom tweaked by Deadbolt speed.
Greddy boost controller (3 levels of boost)
SMC methanol injection kit.
Tilton twindisc universal clutch.
Perrin fuel rails
PE 850 injectors
Perrin Front mout intercooler
Tial 40 mm wastegate
Tial Blow off valve.
Topspeed custom uppipe and downpipe.
Custom exhaust with Turboxs muffler.
Ecutek engine managment with Topspeed tune.
PE kevlar timing belt.
Omari Guages (egt, boost, and oil pressure)
Kart boy short shifter
Whiteline Steering rack bushing
Sti HD pink JDM springs
Sti Hardened strut tops
Whiteline front and rear sway bars
SS stainless steel brake lines
Carbotech bobcat brakes.
JL audio 650 xl front speakers
2 JL audio amps
1 JL audio 10 w6 sub in custom enclosure.
