FS: 2003 Evo - Unbeatable Price!
Well, it's come time... to part with one of my Evos.
I was the original owner back in 2003. I sold it to a friend of mine back in early 2005 so I could purchase the new model, a 2005 Evo MR. Later on that year, he hit a deer and the insurance company totaled it out. I then bought it back and rebuilt it myself. I’m selling it, because I now have 2 Evos and I really want to just focus on the one again, which is now a race track only car. So it does have a "rebuilt salvage" title, but the car is perfect and strong. I've driven it for over 40,000 miles since the rebuild back in late 2005. It currently has 80,000 miles on it. EXCELLENT for a first time Evo owner, or one wanting to make a track Evo.
I have an entire picture library of the rebuild, so you can see what steps were taken and that it was done well. You can also tell from the photos I have of the initial accident that there was NO frame damage at all, just cosmetic damage upfront.
In regards to the engine, it is in perfect condition. A leakdown test shows ZERO cylinder blow by and the turbo is VERY strong, having been run on a turbo timer since day 1. I have recently rebuilt the entire transmission, and put a new heavy street clutch in the car as well. It’s also had a brand new power enterprise timing belt installed, so there won’t be any maintenance that needs to be done.
I have full MR bilsten shocks on there, with the Works Rally ride springs that lower it a little. Also there is a hallman manual boost controller with full gauges in the center of the dash with a radio relocation kit which moves the radio down. It's had an HKS turbo timer since the first 100 miles. It also has a full injen intake system with the hard intercooler piping on it. It has a Buschur racing muffler delete pipe and sounds great as well. I also just installed new DBA 2pc slotted rotors in the front and some new brake pads as well.
I'd like to get at least $15,900 for it... I'm sure once you see some of the modifications and how well it rides and drives, you'll see that little extra value! It's still an exceptional deal for a well maintained and reliable Evo. I currently own 2 of them, I also have a 2005 MR that is setup as my track car that I race. I do all the work on these myself and rebuilt this myself as well. I've had it for almost 2 years since the rebuild and have been using it as my daily driver.
I have a couple more photos located here:

You just get a $5,000 discount because of the salvage title.

I've rebuilt the transmission, with all new syncros and other replaceable parts.
The motor shows zero loss when doing a leakdown test, and it still pulls really strong. Oil has been changed every 3000 miles and the car was never tracked. It's simply been my daily driver.
My other Evo is my track car.
