Is this state or federally legalized? Does it come with a converted vin# or the uk one?

Does it have OBD2?

Heh I'm waiting on all the same info too.

Still waiting on the legal vin and documents.

Questions, if its registered as a lancer does that mean it wasn't imported correctly or they just titled it a lancer?

They all will be titled lancer, but the sub model would be evolution. At least that is how it is suppose to be.

Similar, just no sub model. On my title there is no model. But it is titled as an 01 Lancer. But is insured as a EVO

I don't know I had an EVO and it showed up as evo lancer

Thats the state for you! Its all about how an idoit fills out a form. I turned in the MSO and they still got it wrong.

the carfax didnt come up w/ a description of the vehicle but shows it as a rebuit title status and shows the dates in 2005 when it was statused and carfax didnt recommend the vehicle (probably due 2 the status)

This car has never been to the dealer and carfax is not going to work on this car! That is what happen when you get a car in america that doesnt belong here. As far as the rebuilt title, the car has never been in a wreck the only reason that it is a rebuilt title is that is how I had to title it. More like a KIT car, or assembled from parts.

CAR FAX will not work because Ive never used anything involved with it.
