First time I've ever seen a 50k car and gone to my banking site to see how much that would be per month....

My responce to the figure was something like this

Good luck with sale man, car is way sick.

Bump for a nice machine.

How is that "Ironic" I think you mean "Incidentally"

I would love that car. What is the MAX POWER output one can have with the HKS Turbos? Can they hold 30PSI on Race gas?

Stock Bottom end? During the rebuild were the pistons inspected? Head gasket issues/head lift=detonation so I was just curious.

I can’t believe you are selling this BAD BOY, love it.

Turbos can handle 30psi, they are actually a bit laggy
They make 1 bar @4500 rpm. But they have ALOT of room in them

The bottom end on the other hand does not. Rod bolts are stock and can not handle 30psi. Well they can but not for long. The bottom end was inspected and fine. I also had the head inspected and that was true and unwarped suprisingly. The previous owner had a oem style gasket installed and either the head was not tq-ed correctly or it was a sh1tty gasket. Nonetheless it leaked and I upgraded to a beefy head gasket and followed all re tq procedures per the manaul and ARP. Final head tq was at 82lbs if I remember correctly.

Bump for the only car that I told my wife I would ever want to replace the Evo with, that I might be able to actually afford... Good luck with the sale.

OK cool thanks for the Reply. I thought that the Skylines bottom end was just as bullet proof as the 2JZ-GTE? Can’t it make over 1000WHP on a stock bottom end like the Supra?

No the 2jz is much stronger

Stock bottom end is not good over 600whp

Change the rods and bolts and you can get in the 800's

Change the rod, pistons etc and u can get in the 1000hp territory

Its much easier to make big pwr from the supra...but the difference is that you can actually get the power to the ground on a gtr

I really thought that the Skyline did not need an engine rebuild, interesting.
