Feeler: CO 03 Evo VIII GSR
Like the title says, this is just a feeler. i would like to know kind of offers i would get for my car, in its current state w/ all the extra parts.
Details-
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII GSR- Apex Silver- 60k miles.
5 Speed, Sunroof, Self leveling HID's, cloth interior and Evolution door sills.
Car is lightly modded with the following upgrades-
-Engine-
Turbo XS mbc
Invida N1 turbo back exhaust (factory cat installed currently, comes with test pipe)
Evo JDM MR diverter valve (metal vs. stock plastic "BOV")
GSC 272i/272e cams
Dynoflash custom tune
Zaklee underhood shifter bushings
-Suspension-
Privat Profil 18x8.5 wheels- Black w/ polished lip, 30mm offset
Goodyear Eagle F1 235/40-18's
Tein H Tech springs
Gt Spec rear strut tower brace

-The Bad-
Current motor has 60% leakdown in the 3rd cyl, hence the 2nd motor w/ 2.3l rotating assembly. we're pretty sure the damage is a broken ring land due to bad gas and tune issues (will discuss details via pm or in person). doesn't smoke or use any oil.
the clutch, AFAIK, is still stock, at 60k miles on an Evo that is unheard of! it does start to slip, when cold, from a stop. Never been launched! also the floor boards are dented due to a jackstand mishap. the interior is in very good shape besides the drivers seat showing some wear.
as far as the exterior goes, the front has the usual rock chips from living in CO and the drivers door has a 6" scratch where some *** clown keyed it. there is a dime sized ding on the rear drivers door and the passengers front fender has 2 scratches from the neighbor kids bike (little bastard!).
-The Good-
I am the second owner, but this car has always been babied. everyone makes fun of me for not taking it above 5k rpms, the only time its seen above that was on the dyno and during the Dynoflash tune. car has always been garaged at home and in the parking garage at work. don't let the motor issues fool you, this car is still a beast! my neighbor sold the first Evos to hit Quality Mitsu showroom floors and he cannot believe how strong it still is. the reason i'm interested in selling is...well i don't really want to but, i don't have the money to finish the build the way i want to (2.3l, FP Green, Meth inject fat intercooler...) add in the fact that i have a 10 month baby girl and a 5 yr old, i need something larger.

i'm not even really looking for offers, but more feedback than anything. would you pay $25k? $20k? just really testing the market and want to know what this is worth.

yep, Richie is correct, Highlands Ranch Colorado. but now i'm pricing out intercoolers and turbos as i just might finish the car...who knows, i can never make up my mind.
