FS: 03 Evo VIII *GT30R*built 6spd* AMS 1320 Attack 2nd place
I have my 03 Evo VIII that im regretfully putting up for sale. The car has 40K miles and was previously stored winters. It has had all fluids changed more frequent than what mitsu calls for (oil, tranny, xfer case, rear diff). The car does come with a built and cryoed 6 spd tranny from an 06 MR that orig had 14K on it which after the cryo treatment and install into my car has about 500miles on it and shifts beautifully! It has a Ton of other mods that i will list below. Brand new Kumho Ecsta ASX all season tires. Newer brake pads with about 90% life left. Only ran the car on 93 octane or 110 race gas. The car has been to the drag strip twice, once up near me at WIR where it ran a 12.5@108 totally untuned mess, aswell as a trip down to GLD where it ran a 12.2@115.8 which is currently the AMS 1320 attack programs second place holding time. Please keep in mind i did not tune the car for either runs they were also on stock clutch, they took place right after i put the turbo kit together. I planned on running untuned then tuning and running again but it didnt happen that way, and i never went back. You can view the picture of me and my car on the AMS website under 1320 attack and 30R/50 class. The car has a 6 puck ACT HDSS unsprung clutch which is really not for the faint at heart. Not going to lie, the clutch can get annoying driving it in heavy traffic but if done right will not chatter. The great part about the clutch is its unbelievable grip! You can throw anything at it and it will take it like a champ which is the trade off you have to live with using a “puck” style clutch. BUT, if having a pucked clutch is not your cup of tea i also have the “street disc” that i will be including with the car just for that conveniance so that solves that problem if you don't like the puck. I have most of the stock parts still besides the stock turbo setup which will all come with the car aswell. I put ALOT of time and effort into this car myself, ive never taken it anywhere to be worked on or tuned besides my very own garage. I have 8 prior years of tuning turbo cars and have tuned my car to basic profection on the street. The car is currently running on speed density mode using the MAFTpro unit with support from the AEM 3.5bar Map sensor which also drives the AEM digital boost gauge. The car runs plain out awesome and is a complete monster on the street! Some people may think the 30R spools late but i get full boost at about 3800 which is plenty for me and the HKS 280 cams keep the power going all the way to the 8K rev limit i have set. As far as the body and paint there both almost flawless. The hood has a dent right infront of the hood scoop which can barely be seen and is the size of a dime. The paint is great all around, even the clear coat on the wing is in great condition. Car has all options for an 03 including HID's, Moonroof, Premium sound ect. Interior on the car is just like the day it rolled out of the showroom plus the goodies such as gauges ect. I am looking to get $20,000 FIRM which i think is well below what a car like this should be worth and is actually bluebook for a STOCK car. Ok heres the deal im going to offer my car for the insane price of $20,000 flat out with all the mods. Im looking to move on and not have to pay this months car payment if possible. Therefore, you get the deal of a lifetime! Im sure it wont last long at this price!
