Car was owned by the same person since new until I bought it. He did not take good care of the car. I bought this car taken apart, missing parts and needing a lot of cleaning up.

Car was originally Blue By You. The car was repainted by the previous owner and is no BMW Laguna Blue. When I bought the car it appeared to have been wrecked. I took it to the body shop and they said it was just the paint was HORRIBLE. The wet sanded/buffed the car, I had them fix a few dents in it and it came out pretty darn nice. The car has a clean title. I don't see any evidence of it ever being in a wreck.

I was going to fix it and use it as a track car. My latest insurance bill reminded me that I have 4 EVO's and do not need this one. I am going to track our EVO X.

Before you read further. This car is NOT perfect. It is a 78,000 mile EVO that was not someone's prized automobile. It is pretty nice now and would make someone a nice "beater" to drive, a great project car to completely finish off and make 100% or a good track car. You are not buying a showroom condition EVO that needs nothing at all. I just want to make that clear. It was a project when I bought it, I have most of it complete and it is now nice enough to drive and be proud of it.

Here are some details:

Installed a used starter that got shipped with the car. (It has a whiney sound to it when the car starts, car starts perfectly)

The drivers seat is loose in the back. I haven't looked at it but I can feel it is loose. Probably needs some type of bolt/hardware on the back section. I have some used seats. My brother is selling a super nice full set of Recaro in leather for best off too.

Installed a good used 2003 transfer case.

The front crash beam and intercooler sprayer have been removed to drop some weight. There is no spare tire/jack or tool kit. I am sure I have one if someone needs it.

The front lip on the car was broken when I got it. I removed it and was going to put a carbon fiber front lip on it. We are out of stock so it didn't get done. You can put whatever you like on the car.

New on the car:

CenterForce Dual Friction Clutch
Buschur Racing 3" turbo back with oval 3" muffler and 4" tip. VERY quiet.

Buschur Racing ECU Flash-I custom tuned this car myself on our dyno. It made 308 whp and 306 ft lbs of torque. 93 octane. 21 psi. It is tuned to road race and not have problems

Last picture you can see the mark on the door panel. There are lots of little things like this all over the car. Just little stuff like that.

No front crash beam on the car, it says it above. It was taken off for the weight savings. Yes, it can go on the car with the race FMIC, it is a tight fit but does go on.

richyc, the title has been in two names, not sure where all it's been. Yes, you should have bought it for $12,000. Then you could have painted, buffed and fixed the body, put in a tcase, new clutch, rebuilt the trans, fixed the sunroof, cleaned the interior and under the hood, put Robi Spec springs/ struts and alignment on it, race FMIC, new injectors, fuel pump, tuned it, upper i/c BOV, 3"turbo back etc. etc. You'd then have about $20,000 in it..............
