FS (Feeler) 2006 Mitsubishi IX $18,500 36K READ..

I'm posting this up to see if there's any interest.

I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Electric Blue Evo IX GSR with lots of mods and 36,000 miles for only $18,500.......please read

It has a seized balance shaft and motor will not start, the balance shaft belt came through the cam gear cover and the motor will probably have to be rebuilt.

Blue book on my car with 36000 miles is about $23,000 and a motor rebuild is about $4.5K and that's where I came up with the $18,500 price.

Only catch is that the transaction would have to be completed by July 1st as I will be leaving and won't be back for a while.

This is a great deal for someone that has the time, ability and resources for doing a rebuild..... which I don't have

Some of the major things I have are Exedy stage 1 organic clutch and flywheel (about 700 miles). A ETS super value turbo kit 3076R ball bearing turbo and intake (only 500 miles @less then 15lbs of boost) and Volk LE28 with relatively new tires.

I would like to sell this as it would just sit in storage for a long time but if I don't (I know it's really short notice) I am just going to keep it.

Here are the mods included:

  • HKS Titanium cat-back exhaust. w/Test pipe
  • 255lph Fuel pump
  • Hallman manual boost controller
  • Perrin rear sway bar
  • Cusco rear trunk bar
  • Cusco rear strut bar
  • Cusco under car brace bar
  • Stance GR+ Pro Coilovers (CT9A 9K/8K)
  • DTM custom stainless steel upper intercooler pipe
  • Exedy Stage 1 organic clutch & flywheel (installed)
  • ETS Super value turbo kit (3076r & ets intake)
  • Teflon coated brake lines
  • Samco blue upper radiator hose
  • Greddy radiator shroud
  • Volk LE-28 18x8.5 w/tires 235/40
  • Tint (windows)
  • Phillips 6K Xenon bulbs w/ HID ballast head lights
  • Stewart Warner gauges (Boost, Oil Pres, Oil Temp)
  • 42 Draft Designs triple gauge mount plate
  • Mitsubishi Radio relocator
  • Alpine head unit
  • AEM UEGO air/fuel ration 6 in 1 gauge
  • Single pod steering wheel mount
  • Mitsubishi OEM car cover
  • DTM custom Dyno tune
  • Hawk HPS brake pads (Front/Rear)
  • Carbon fiber rear bumper exhaust shield
  • ARP head studs
29. Greddy shift knob

Things not installed yet:

  • Precision 880cc pm fuel injectors
  • Perrin fuel rail
  • Slim radiator fan
  • HKS type 0 turbo timer (w/harness)
  • HKS Super sequential blow off valve

I'm selling the car as is including EVERYTHING and I don't want to part out. If I don't sell it I'll just rebuild it when I get back.

Thanks for looking and pm me with any questions. I'm located in the Tacoma Washington area 98444.

Car looks nice so good luck. Unfortunately I think you're going to have a hard time making the sale with such short notice. Stay safe, wherever you are headed.

Thanks Ramses

I know it's short notice but unfortunately that's the way it is and if it doesn't sell, I'll just rebuild it next year.

I can vouch for Wally and this car. There isnt gonna be external damage that you can see to the motor itself. The balance shaft seized. I helped Wally install the turbo kit and everything on this car is cherry! He takes good care of his stuff.

Thanks again buddy, correct there is no external damages other than a shredded balance shaft belt that cracked through the cam gear cover. The engine failure happened under normal driving conditions @3,000rmp's.

I'll try to get pictures of the engine and parts today.
