F/S: (MA) 2003 EVO 8 Project Car 500 whp..
Hey guys
I have up for sale a 2003 Wicked White Evo 8, the car has 38,XXX. I bought the car back in February i have loved every single minute of it. I was driving the car this past weekend, and all of a sudden i heard this loud knocking sound. so i got to my house, and the next morning started the car up and is still making loud knocking sound. so i am selling this car as a project car, cuz i believe that the car has a problem inside the motor. not sure have not gotten it looked at. the car starts and drives but like i said it has a loud knocking sound coming from motor.
The BAD
The transfer Case is starting to do the whine.The motor issue that i listed above. THE CAR NEEDS A RE-TUNE for who ever buys it, it is having some issues holding a idle some days it does beautiful others it struggles and stalls. it just threw a cel light for 2 reasons. I do not have the stock boost silonoid since i used to run aem ems and took it off. and there is a cel for the map sensor, since i used to run aem ems i have the aem map sensor, it needs to stock one. The car needs work to run PERFECT but it does not need alot of work. If it is something internal wrong with the motor the most it can cost is 2-3k depending on what;s wrong.
I am being truthfully with everyone on here so everyone know's whats wrong before someone buys it and complains.

THE CAR MADE 506 WHP ON A DYNOJET the car is fast, i have had tons of fun with it.
I have tracked it at the track I DID ABOUT 5 RUNS and did a 11.3@124 mph the car is a 10 second car.
PRICE ASKING 23K O/B/O no LOW-BALLING remember what you are getting a fully built evo with a 35r kit made 506 whp and SCREAMS. Even with the minor problems that i listed above the car is still well worth the money. since there is close to 15k in parts Please p'm me with any questions

i did a 11.3 if someone who is a better driver than me, they can see 10 sec's out of this car. if you do a race gas map also easy ten's. with 124 traps only on pump, and if it gets a nice race gas map the car can trap close to 130 which is easy tens

that's a steep price honestly 05-06 evos go for 23 all the time and if you say the motor is knocking that can be the motor is done (knocking..prob a rod bearing) so all your built stuff in your bottom end may be garbage and need a new motor

+1 could be a mess.. and will definitly cost more then 1K to fix.. so you have a tcase on the way out aint cheap to fix, and then a motor probably toast.. where do you see 1K to fix???? and then if someone doesnt do it themselves.. I see over 1K in labor alone if not done by yourself.. I would say thats major not minor too... either way Gl with sale..

^ shep sells there t-case a rebuilt one for 900 dollars you send your's in, and yes i understand about the motor thats why im saying if someone is interested they shoudl come down look at the car listen to motor. i started it today and no smoke nothing is coming out of the car. not leaking anything. just has a bad knocking sound.
