04 Evo 8 2.4L Twin scroll ETS4088r Fully built Heavily modded (TX)

Hello everyone! I have decided to finally get rid of my evo. I have been the only owner. Bought it new in 04. This thing is fully decked out and i cant believe im gonna sell it.

Problems:

It has a scratch on the front passenger wheel. You can see it in the pics. Car has 48k miles on it total. Motor was built at 18k. It currently runs fine but it does has a low compression cyclinder, #2 to be exact. It feels totally fine and runs great but you cant tell when you are cranking on it. I believe its a burtn valve. I poured oil into the cyclinder and did another compression test and it was the same so i know its not the rings. And the cluth is starting to slip a little when shifting and only when its drove hard. Its a rebuildable clutch. It has the normal wear of any 6 year old car. Has a little hail damage but really not noticable as you can tell in the pics

Idk how much power it makes but i have raced and beaten high 600 to low 700 whp cars with videos to prove it all. This is an all out car. It will need a retune for you location. Does have aem so its cranky.

Here is the thread to the race videos http://www.*******.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10788 take the astriks out and put in evo wned without the space

Asking $16k Just really need to pay some debt off. Thanks for looking

1. you have a standard timing belt for the 4g64 correct not a stretched 63 with adjusted idler pully

2. Is your water pump wielded on or using adaptor

3. You manley I beam rods which ones are they. Theses below???
14403-4 5.905" 1.890" 1.038" .866" ( 22 mm ) .8671" 675

4. Is one of your manley rods Shaved alittle for balancing??

1. Standard timing belt for a dohc 4g64

2. I have the adapter plate from rre.

3. I don't remember exactly I'll have to check.

4. No they are a balanced set. I did have to clearance the block though so the rods wouldn't hit it. They are very beefy rods.

I really need the answers to these and you to explain alittle more in detail to me please. i just got a 2.4 block that was preassembled with everything yours had. One of my rods was shaved alittle so the shop was like nope that could cause issues get another rod. SO i had to call Slowboy to order water pump adaptor and timing belt and asked them about it they gave me the rods size i listed above to you and told me they have seen where some people shave a rod for balancing but they will never do it. SO i was just wondering i dont mind getting another rod as the shop had to take one to machine shop to see which turbo tuff rod it is. I called manley and they offered to sell me one rod just have to know which one. Balance of course. Hints me asking you since ours are similer. My block is shaved alittle for the crack or knocked however you want to say it . We had to take the block apart to have everything cleaned up thats when we noticed the one rod shaved. so i wonder if its shaved because as you stated it would not hit. its in cyclinder 3 btw. the other rods are fine just that one.

Not trying to come off as a dick but seems like you are demanding for answers irrelevant to the thread when all hes trying to do is sell his car.

Sick car man, bump for you.
