Where Do You Post A Fully Track Prepared Car. . . FOR SALE
.
Question:
I’m putting my fully track prepared Evo for sale.
Even though it has the full interior, current PA Inspection and can be a daily driver, it has so many
extensive track modifications done to it, that it is way beyond a stock Evo or even modded Evo.
So, it seems hardly suitable to post a Race Car Evo FOR SALE here in the EvoM Classified section
of this Forum.
Unless there is a special section here that I haven’t seen, perhaps someone can suggest a few other
specialty boards for such a car FOR SALE.
Thank you.

- Nasa forums (I seen it there already)
- Time Attack Forums
- Racing Junk
That's a good question. Above are my suggestions. You could blast other car boards but that'd be an endless quest. In the end, if you truely want a modified Evo; you come to the Evo boards I'd think.

I've seen several very well prepared evo's sell here on the "cars for sale" board, just make sure you let people know up front if it's a total package period or if you'll allow part out's. Like Boom said, it's and evo site, so things can go from someone wanting to prepare their car, but see yours and decide it's cheaper, or a friend of a friend who's on this site tells them, etc etc.

What do you mean by "way beyond a modded evo"? A modded Evo is what you've got! There are many nicely modded Evos sold here. I think this is the best place for a modded street car. If you built it to be competitive in a particular race class with SCCA or NASA, you might have luck there. But if it's just a fast HPDE car built without regard to rules, this is probably better than anywhere else.

I would tend to agree.. if it isn't a dedicated race car, COMPLETE WITH RACE LOG then it is just a modded evo, although it may be built with more 'track use only' parts... I would agree with a previous post that if it isn't built to the rules of a specific roadrace class be it NASA, SCCA, etc.. then it is simply a modded evo.
Notice on many SCCA roadrace cars, and NASA cars for sale... a LOG BOOK is an important part of the car's history, placement, etc.
Just my .02.
I think it would be worth posting on roadraceautox forums as well as nasa & scca forums.. BUT.. be ready for questions about its logbook, what class was it built for, etc. You likely won't have that much 'detail' in question here... and here you can appeal to both someone wanting to 'step it down' to a daily driver, and someone wanting a dedicated track car... Just the rest of my .02.

.
Yes, it has been built to NASA TTS and ST2 class specifications.
Ready to go, but never raced.
Ready for the street or track.
Used as a daily driver and occasional DE track car.
