FS: Evo 2.3 stroker, GT3076R (CA, Bay Area)

I had this up earlier this year in Feb, but I had some family issues, which took some time to take care of. I know I had some people who were interested and wanted to see the car, and apologize for not being able to do so.

Also, the car's registration was coming up in April, so I waited a bit, paid the registration until 2011 and then took care of the smog, so now it's fully ready for the next owner!

The 2.3 stroker motor was completed in October of 2009, and in the past 8 months, I've put 1,200 miles on the new motor and the first 1000 miles was put within the first week and the other 100 was driving to and from getting the car tuned, the rest was just randomly driving around. It just doesn't make sense to be paying $600 every month for the car payment and insurance on a car I never drive anymore. I bought an Integra to drive around when I was waiting for the motor to get built, but even now, I drive my integra 99.9% of the time, and at this point, i only turn the Evo on and drive it around the block once a week just to keep the battery and everything alive (Although sometimes I forget and 9 out of 10 times, the battery is dead by the time I want to drive it. Thus is the life of using a mini battery. lol.)

I purchased this Evo from the owner, Devin, of Speed Element Performance nearly 3 years ago. The car was just smogged earlier this month AND Registration has been taken care of until April of 2011 also! The only thing this car needs is a new front lip, since the one on there is cracked from bottoming out.

**The car has a brand new clutch/flywheel (still less than 50 miles on it, after I pick the car up), new pads and rotors (only been on the car for around 5k miles), as well as very new tires (90% tread), so you don't need to worry about replacing wear and tear items any time soon.

All installation work was done at Speed Element Performance in Fremont and tuning was done by Full Function in Hayward. The motor is freshly built and only has around 1,200 miles on it.

On 91 octane, it made 400whp/380wtq on a Mustang Dyno at 25psi on 91 octane at Full Function in Hayward. I'm sure on racegas or E-85, it'll break 500whp just fine, but I haven't had the chance (or motivation) to get it tuned on race gas.

I'm looking to get 23.5k for the car.

*NOTE: The car has a BRAND NEW clutch, so if you want to go on test drives, you can't really WOT much, or the clutch will slip. I'm going to pick the car up from Speed Element this Saturday, so the following week, i will try to daily drive the Evo and put some miles on the clutch and break it in.

Yeah, I used to daily drive the Evo with the GT30R when it was still on the stock bottom end, before the 2.3.

I was pulled over 3-4 times because of "modified exhaust," and then had my hood popped, and every single time my hood was popped, it passed the "It's all stock, Officer" test.

Some more pics of the fenders, doors, and rear quarter panels of the car for those of you who are super **** about the exterior condition of the car. The previous owner did drive the car to LA a lot, so there are rock a couple rock chips on the hood and one of the driver side fender (as you can see in the first pic.) Still, this Evo looks MUCH better than most 2003 Evo's I've seen.

I am one of those people who are super **** about where I park, and I WILL park at the ungodly far edge of a parking lot where no one wants to walk to, just to avoid getting any door dings/dents.

Here's some pics of the fruits of my extra labor. NO DINGS or DENTS! Muahahah!

Yeah. You can two options:

1.) Find someone to trade you an OEM trunk w/ a wing, which shouldn't be too hard, since the RS trunk lid is pretty highly sought after.

2.) You can drill holes into the RS trunk.

Damn it. Now only if I can get rid of my MS3 that I just bought 4 months ago....why oh why couldn't this have been for sale then.

Just curious how well do you think this will hold up to being a DD for awhile?

I don't see why it would have any problems. I DD'd this car on the current setup, but on the stock block for about a year. The only reason I don't DD it on the 2.3 is because I picked up an Integra to drive around while I was waiting for the 2.3 to be built, but ended up not getting rid of it. So now the Evo just sits in the garage all the time. lol.
