2003 Buschur Fully Built EVO $17,500

PRICE REDUCED: $17.5K

As much as I hate to do it, the time has come to sell my Evo. It is a 2003 in Tarmac Black. The motor in it is a fully built Buschur 2.0 built and installed by AWD Motorsports. I am the second owner of the car, and purchased it in May of 2007 with 56K on it. Oil has been changed regularly every 3K miles. MT fluid was just changed as well using redline MT90.

The car is tuned on e85, but is wired so that the tune can be switched to a pump gas tune by simply holding down the intercooler sprayer switch.

At 66K, the car was sent to Buschur for a full rebuild of the transmission. It received new shifter cables and a new shifter, an Exedy Twin HD Clutch, and the Buschwacker transmission rebuild. Also, while it was being rebuilt, gears 3, 4, and 5 were replaced, the 3-4 fork, and the 4th and 5th counter. Total for all work was $4,400.

Around 70K, the car was sent to Mitsubishi and all 4 calipers were replaced. Also, the spoiler was replaced due to the clear coat being oxidated.

At 85K(off memory, I will verify), I purchased the fully built motor from AWD Motorsports and took the car to them to have it installed. Here is a link to the FS thread of the motor:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sa...000-miles.html

While the car was down there, I had the AWD billet motor mount kit installed, along with an Evo 9 turbo, Buschur ported Intake mani and a Buschur ported 65 mm throttle body.

The car now sits with about 94K on the body, so about 10K on the motor. The car runs solid, and is ready to put out some high numbers with a big turbo/mani, AEM, a second fuel pump, and ignition. With those few mods, and some coilovers, I see no reason why the car should be ready to run 9's, because it already has the motor and trans for it.

I have simply run out of time and money to finish the project, so I would love to see the car go to someone who is going to finish it. I am moving to Texas for work in the near future, so it simply is not realistic to take the car with me.

Now, on to the Full mod list:

Engine:
Fully Built Buschur 2.0
Crower Rods
Je Pistons
Arp Headstuds / Main studs

Buschur Stage 3 Head

Buschur BF 272 Cams

New Timing Belt, Oil Pump and Water Pump with 10K on them

Other Performance Mods:
Buschur's Buschwacker Transmission
Buschur inline MBC
Buschur Short Ram intake
PTE 1000cc Injectors
Buschur Street Core FMIC
Buschur LICP
Buschur UICP with Tial Flange and 1g DV
Buschur Mini Battery Tray with Brand New Battery
Buschur 65MM Ported Throttle Body
Buschur Ported Intake Manifold
AWD Motorsports Billet Motor Mount Kit
Evo 9 Turbo
Buschur Short Shifter
Perrin O2 simulator
HKS DP
Test Pipe
Greddy EVO 2 Exhaust
New NGK BPR8ES spark plugs
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump

Wheels/Tires:

17" 5zigen Fn01rc's in Bronze
235-45-17 Bridgestone Potenza RE01R's with less than 10K

Misc. Mods:
MR Center Console
Radio Relocation Kit
Carbontrix CF dash pod for 3 60MM gauges
Currently only has boost gauge installed
Clarion Head unit
VIS Cf hood

The Bad:

Hood has a hairline crack under the clear coat, but is only noticeable up front
Front bumper is scraped up on the underside
Driver Floormat is worn and will need replaced
Usual wear and tear on a 95K mile chassis-Car has a few minor dings around it, but nothing big.
Cigarette lighter is not hooked up.(I didn't reconnect it when installing the center console, but will try to get to that)
Not sure how to explain it, but the side of the drivers seat is loose. I believe this is a very common issue.
AC needs charged and the temp knob is hard to turn(again, I believe a common issue).

That is all the info I can think of on the car for now. I will update as I remember things. I am SURE that I left out some things on the modification list.

I am asking $17,500 for the car. I feel this is a very fair price considering the amount of time and money invested in the car, along with the potential it has. To duplicate this motor would cost you 7K+ alone.

Thanks for looking!

Worst ding on the car, and a spot above it. I’m not sure where it came from because it was on there when I bought it. About 1”

I just ordered a 60MM boost gauge that will be included. I had a 52 modified to fit but wanted to put the right one in.

I didn’t get a chance to clean up the engine bay at all, but all pipes still have original shine and will clean up nicely. As you can see, it also has the IX spark plug cover.

Tires still have tons of life left in them, as you can see.

Rear seats are in perfect shape and have rarely been used.

The rims had some discoloration on them and will need to be re-powder coated. I didn’t think about this when I posted the original add, and will be taking $400 off of the sale price to compensate.

The trunk is currently gutted, but I have all of the pieces to put it back together. Also, those are the floor mats in the trunk that will be included, I shampooed them and put them back there.

Not sure what the 2 marks on the fabric here are, but there is nothing wrong with it. The fabric may just have been brushed against so the threads are pulled a different way than the others.

What you see to the right is not the carpet, it is the floormat turned upside down on the carpet to keep it clean.

Sorry for the delay in getting pictures. I have been extremely busy.

Also, I forgot to mention, the only trades I would be looking for would be 04-07 5 series bimmers, 02-05 7 series bimmers, or any IS300 + cash.
