no it is not "hot"

i bought the car back in 07 and then deployed overseas. i never got a chance to register it and then the title was lost sometime while i was gone.

i tried to get a hold of the person that i bought it from to get him to get a new title and then sign it over to me again but he is no where to be found

MD will not give a title to a vehicle without the seller present.

i know in most states you can apply for a new title on the basis of an 'abandoned vehicle,' (language varies). basically if no one claims it in something like 30 days (and they must have proof of ownership) the dept of motor veh issues you a title in your name. Tow truck/impounders do it all the time.

would also be interested if it runs and drives. as well as if you have any of the stock turbo/manifold/o2 etc. basically i wouldnt be using it as a dragger and wouldnt want the cheese wheel on there. thanks,
