But if you show them proof its valued more they will offer a few grand over KBB or NADA. I'd assume some evo owners may have a few extra bucks laying around to make up the difference considering how much we like to spend on mods

I'm only chiming in because this car is awesome and I just went through the same thing with my Supra. Asking price was much more than the book value and I made up the difference in cash out of pocket.

In summary - BUMP!
thanks man!

The new owner won't need to pay the whole car in cash. He/she will have to put downpayment of the diffrence and finance the rest. GL OP she will miss you

Not starting a fight or anything. But they aren't a joke considering banks go by them. Most people don't have 27k to just throw up. Most of the time you are gonna have a hard time selling a car for way more then you can get a loan on them. Nice car tho. I love the WW Im pissed I got rid of mine!

Good luck with sale man. There are so many low ballers on this forum who just have nothing better to do than add useless comments on somebody trying to sell their car. I went through the same on here when I was thinking about selling mine, hence why I just kept it. Got tired of all the b.s. from people.

I'm thinking that you owe more than the car is worth and that is why you are asking this much. Not saying at all it's a crazy asking price but I had this problem when I tried to sell mine about a year and half ago. I owed more than the car was worth and trying to sell it for $26-27k was tough. GLWS though! I love the WW IX's
