What is this Evo MR REALLY worth?

I'm looking for comments by people who are truly knowledgeable in used Evo IX prices.

What is this Evo IX MR with 40k miles really worth in your option?

He has been asking 25k for months with no takers. It looks like he is trying to get mod money back but the car has high miles....

22-23k

and 40k isn't a lot of miles. I would say 60k + is a lot of miles. Car is 5 yrs old now and that is less than 10k miles a yr

40K isnt high mileage by any means. Its a nice clean car with nice mods. Bottom line is people buy these cars to mod so you cant really approach it like oh he's trying to get his mod money back. These cars sell very well with mods and its worth $25K all day long in my opinion. Just had a funny thought on the mileage. My 2010 Audi Q5 has 30K miles on it LOL...

I honestly think it's worth the asking price. Car seems nicely done, and well maintained.

I think its priced very reasonably. I have 45k on mine, with less mods and if i ever sell it, i wont sell it for anything under 28. to me its the last 4g63, so it really depends on a # of things from a buyer/seller perspective.

you guys are out of your minds with your value of these cars. Detroit, maybe I'll eat my words, but no way will you ever get 28 for your car.

I am sorry, these cars aren't worth 25+.

23k TOPs. If you pay more, then you fell in love with it. Plenty of cars out there that are actually priced fairly. I just bought my 06 MR and payed thousands less than 25k... with mods, two sets of wheels, and about 43k miles.

edit:
actually the car I bought is pretty comparable to the one in question. like I said, I payed thousands less than 25k and still felt like I overpayed. Heck, a friend local to me bought an 06 IX SE with very little mods - intake, exhaust, gauges, and a set of advans for 19k with 9k miles on it just this past spring.

If you are going to spend 25+, get a X

In early 2005 I bought a 03 evo with 10k miles on it bone stock and only payed 20k. But that is true most people want entirely to much money for these cars. I think most sellers problems are they payed to much for the car to start with and are stuck with a high interest loan and they put a ton of miles on the car and the payments they are making are just paying on the intrest.Just keep looking you will find the right car for the right price.

Sorry for the huge post it just really pisses me off because I'm am looking for another evo and everyone just wants so much for there cars. And they wonder why they have 10 pages of posts saying "bump".lol

If it was worth 25k wouldnt it have sold by now.

It's been for sale for months.... On this board.

I don't know if he has put it on Ebay or the trader. (to be fair)

40k miles is below avg miles for a 2006 vehicle, 60k mile is the normal avg for a 2006.
Since it is below the avg miles for 2006 he can add value to the vehicle, plus the stuff done to the car. The list of things done to the car is well worth the money, there is no way he can ask for those money back, parts, labor.

NADA accounts for the low milage and puts the car at 22.7k clean RETAIL price. KBB is inflated so I don't even look any more. IMHO this car is worth 21k low end, 23k on the high end.

25k is overpriced. u can get a X for that price. i am looking to get another evo sometime soon but hate to see these high prices.

nevertheless i did get 31k for my 06 evo mr which had 21k miles on it last year from my insurance company (car was stolen and totaled)

Its only worth what the buyer will pay. I'm asking 23500 for my 8 with 40000 miles, so to each their own. 25k for his 9 seems about right. Dealers ask 25-28 around here in Chicago area for the same car.

That is just ridiculous to say. You can buy alot of things for 25K. Doesnt mean a thing. The IX is the last of the 4G63's. They will hold value to many. There are people paying 50K for new IX MR's in Cali. That should tell you something. I looked at a few 28K MR's with low mileage and they were sold by the time I made the call. People are paying top dollar for IX's with low mileage. Just sayin' We could debate this forever, but its the basic principal of it's only worth what someone is willing to pay. However, make no mistake the car will sell for $25k in time when the right buyer lays his eyes on it. Mine is for sale for $27K, not a penny less
