Just got a call about it. But..... it was someone trying to scam me. They said they could guarantee the list price but they needed a down payment and wanted my credit card information. They said they had a buyer who would take it this weekend with a bank certified check. I told her why would someone buy it without seeing it in person. Then told her I wasn't giving her any info about my credit card and she got all defensive asking me are you sure you are serious about selling your car?

Why are there people out there like this?

possible scammer. make sure they buy it in person and have them provide a cashier's check of the price and transact and deposit it in the bank. that would guarantee that the check is valid. don't transact business on weekends nor after office hours or when the bank is almost closing.
