Available Soon - Suman's ICS Built EVO IX - Brand new engine - 730awhp
This car is the real deal, folks.
I purchased it recently from Suman but have a little one on the way... wife forcing some toy liquidations!
Here is the jist:
2006 EVO IX
Wicked White exterior, black leather interior
23K miles
FULL-RACE turbo kit (bottom mount w/ single 44mm gate)
Precision billet 6262 turbo (SP compressor cover, Ford 5-bolt turbine housing)
CP Pistons
Eagle H-Beam rods
Sheperd-built transmission
Sheperd-built transfer case
Supertech valvetrain
Cosworth 272 cams
Buschur Racing 4.0 inch FMIC
Buschur Racing exhaust
Carbonetic triple-disc clutch
Seibon CF hood (original comes with car)
Seibon CF trunk (original comes with car)
Brand new 17" gunmetal MB Motorsports Weapon Wheels 17x9 all around, Brand new Falken Azeni RT615's 245/45/R17
KW Variant 3 coilovers front/rear
RRE upgraded sway bars front/rear
AEM ECU (tuned)
Aquamist HFS-1 methanol injection setup
Fully integrated NAV and custom JL Audio sound system
Small battery kit
Long story short, the car has made 730awhp on a pump/meth combo to date on the 6262. Upon buying the car, I immediately pulled the motor and wanted to freshen everything up, which is what I'm doing currently. Block is going .040 over with CP pistons, new Eagle rods, valve job, all new gaskets, pumps, etc. This will be a ZERO mile engine in the coming weeks. At that point, I will break the car in on the dyno, freshen up the tune, and then the car will be available for purchase. I'm leaving quite a few details out at the moment, but encourage anyone who is interested in the car to call me directly to discuss. My name is Lou and I can be reached at (203) 520-7162. Clean Connecticut title in hand. Thanks for looking!
Lou
Pictures will all be stored here:
Here is the car a few weeks ago, just loaded up onto one of EFI Logics lifts, awaiting drivetrain removal
Very dirty, not yet polished and sealed, etc... but just a plain shot of the rear end
Cylinder head is now completed. 5 angle valvejob, major cleanup, pressure test, etc.
Cylinder head unbagged
No dirt, just refreshened goodness here
Full Supertech valvetrain
JL Audio 10W3 in custom glassed enclosure
TurboSmart e-BOOST EBC, DEFI gauges w/ DEFI link, JVC integrated NAVI
Aquamist HFS-1 gauge and AEM wideband
Smooth black Recaro leather
Rear smooth black leather

Great question. The car was originally contracted to be built by Al, and Al was the one who picked certain components for the car and did some of the wrenching over the past couple of years.
Since I've purchased it, I am going through each and every nut, bolt, and component on the car alongside EFI Logics in Bethel, CT... to refresh, inspect, and to make the car absolutely perfect. This includes literally all brand new engine internals, cams, you name it. After all of the hardware is completed, the car will be re-tuned on the AEM after a proper engine break in. Detailed photos are being taken of everything going back into the car, as well as of the car itself for anyone who is interested.

Thanks for the interest, everyone. I will be looking to get $30K for the car once completed. This will include receipts from the entire rebuild, pictures, invoices, etc. Remember, this has a Shep trans, transfer case, FR kit, Buschur Race FMIC, exhaust, built motor, zero miles on longblock, 23K on chassis, KW Variant 3 coilovers, new Carbonetics triple, black leather Recaros, brand new rims and tires, double pumper fuel setup, AEM, JL Audio system, etc. Definitely far far from a stock car.
To the poster above, unfortunately I'm already past the halfway mark on the full rebuild, so the car isn't available "as it sits". Thanks, though!

I will be honest with all of you in telling you that I've had a really good response from this thread already, whether it be from PM's, phonecalls, local and distant potential buyers, etc. The price will be FIRM and the car will be sold 100% completed. Today is March 1st. I am looking at March 31st as a viable selling date.
In the interim, I promise to take some detailed photos of the car, its equipment, and add in some from the longblock rebuild process. As many of you know, I'm a very **** person with my vehicles and builds... and this car will be no exception.
The only thing that I am unsure on, is how to handle multiple people wanting the car at $30K. I think the best way to approach it will be to accept a deposit on the un-finished car if someone is interested in locking up the deal. I'm not interested in putting people into a bidding war over the car.
Like I said though, I will update this thread with pictures as soon as I have them available. The weather might be breaking up here in Connecticut soon, so it should give me the opportunity to take the car out of the bay at EFI Logics and give it a nice washdown, etc. Thanks for your interest!
