2004 Evo VIII Low Miles Not Salvage with IX Motor
Time for us to move onto some other vehicle. Before that can happen, we need to sell our Evo.
2004 Evo VIII
51,000 miles on the odometer
We have had the car since Sept. 2009. Bought it from a Mitsu. dealer in Atlanta and brought it up to Western New York. The previous owner put in a Mivec Turbo Evo IX motor, not sure on the miles on it, but it runs flawlessly. We have put 22,000 miles on the car since we have had it without any engine issues.
Did need the transmission rebuilt which we had done in Jan. 2010. Just last week had the transfer case swapped out, the original was whining. But its good now.
We put in a Exedy stage 1 clutch when we had the transmission done in Jan. 2010. Has Tein lowering springs that bring the car down about an inch and a half.
Tires were new a year ago, and only have about 5,000 miles on them.
There are a few holes on the dash and above the steering column where it looks like the previous owner had some gauges on it. But they were not on the car when we got it.
Car runs, shifts and drives great. Check engine light is not on.
Had STM in Rochester NY do the transfer case swap, and they also took care of the one "Small Evaporative Emissioins" code at the time.
Paint is in good condition, but could use a good polish, have not had a chance this year to do it yet.
Interior is clean.
Clean title, not rebuilt or salvage.
Looking for $18,000 or best offer.
