Tried to sell my Evo a little while back and found out shortly into the sale process that it had a rebuilt title pretty early in its life. Unfortunately scared many buyers away but I would like to adjust the price a bit and see what kind of interest it draws.
I found out from a potential early buyer...i bought it off of a close friend/ co-worker of mine and never bothered checking the records. It had a rebuilt title early in its life in Cali / Idaho. You wouldn't even know unless you saw the records...I never did. It's no different than any other evo and runs and pulls great. I take good care of her.
If you live in PA like I do it will be a clean PA title. Apparently PA is one of 3 states allowed to issue a clean title so long as all repairs were made and it was professionally inspected. Title I have in hand is a clean PA title.
Also, I found out the dents in the roof are covered by my insurance so they will be getting completely taken care of by a body shop in the near future...the body shop will also be re-clearcoating the monster sport carbon fiber hood for me so it will be perfect condition. The body will be in really great shape after that is done aside from the curb rash and wear and tear on the front bumper. Car is mechanically sound...no issues at all that I have had with my time with it.
Reason for selling is strictly financial (full-time student and need the money towards other bills). You won't be disappointed with my evo.

Hey EvoM.
Up for sale is my 2006 Evo 9 MR. This car was and still is my baby. Car has been very well maintained. Oil changed every 3000 with mobil 1 synthetic. Just recently put a fresh coat of wax on her and she is looking very good. There is nothing mechanically wrong with this car at all. Runs very strong, is very fast, and is an absolute blast to drive. No boost leaks, lag, knocks, grinds, or anything of the sort. Mileage - roughly 76,000.
Modifications - Turbo back exhaust system, mishimoto radiator, perrin recirculating blow off valve, Injen upper and lower intercooler piping, injen intake, and a pro tune from CBRD Speedfactory. The car made 310hp / 306tq @ 24psi on their mustang dyno.
Exterior mods - Real Monster Sport Carbon Fiber hood (retails for roughly $2000), carbon fiber rear mitsubishi emblem, carbon fiber side mirrors, window tints, and a polyurethane front lip.
The only flaws on my car are minor exterior dings and wear and tear. The roof has 2 small dents...no paint damage just small dents.The carbon fiber hood also has some hazing near the top. The front bumper also has wear and tear that you would expect on a daily driver (Rock chips and such). Rims also have some curb rash from previous owner.
That is my honest description of the only flaws on my evo. Other than those few it is in great condition and looks fantastic. Also, the interior is absolutely mint...great leather/suede recaro seats...no tears rips burns or anything like that. Car was never smoked in.
Price is pretty firm at 19k. Thats already below value for this evo. I hate to see this car go but I can not afford to keep it at this time. This evo has been my pride and joy and I'm sure its new owner will be incredibly happy with it. Oh also I am in Philadelphia, PA.
