FS/PA: 2006 Evo IX RS (Track Project) **NEW PRICE**
CAR IS SOLD!
SOME PARTS ARE STILL FOR SALE! CHECK THE FS SECTION
Up for sale is my IX RS that I bought with high expectations but fell into the trap of life (just bought house, baby on the way, etc.) and now it needs to go.
Location: Wysox, PA 18854
Contact: 570-637-0125 Call/Text
VIN: JA3AH36C16U038451
Specs:
2006 Evo IX RS
131K miles
Clean Title in hand!
Parts:
JIC Muellerized Coilovers
AMS FMIC
AMS Piping
Tial BOV
AMS Small Battery Kit
AutoPower 6pt Cage (Not installed)
Enkei RC-T4 Wheels 18x9.5 +30mm
BFG R1 Track Tires 265/35/18 (1 track day 80% tread!)
Seibon FRP Doors
HKS Carbon/TI Exhaust (Not installed)
I'm sure I'm missing some other things.
Known issues:
When I purchased the car it was driven about 200 miles back to my shop. The car ran perfect but did have a grind going into second or third gear. Other then that everything functioned perfectly.

Yes the car runs and drives. I have no plans to work on the car anytime soon. The car will be sold as is and the new buyer can pick through all of the evo parts I've acquired for my asking price.

This may be the first time I've ever responded like this, but I just have to ask as I'm trying to understand. So the car is an RS, it has 130k miles on it, it's in a state of not being completely put together, it has a grind in a couple of gears, and a couple parts need paint and you're asking $18500?? I'm really in no way trying to be insulting or knock your price, it just sounds WAY higher than I was expecting. I know someone that is interested in picking up an RS and wants a red one, which is the reason I'm posting in this thread. Adding CF doors and a roll cage would more than likely lower the resale value even more.
If you're willing to let it go for like $11k and you can keep the extra parts and sell them privately, I'd be interested. Again, that might sound low, but honestly, I value this car's resale value in "poor" condition, as it is not a complete car.

I would also value the car at $11k. But if you are in the market for a car along these lines with the track parts the $18500 is definitely a fair price. I know this because I paid $11k for the car and spent well over $9k in parts.
This package isn't for everyone, nor is it intended to be. Also don't forget that I'm not in a position of needing to sell this car financially so I'm not forced to price it that aggressively.

I thought the baby on the way, mortgage, etc etc is forcing you to sell this evo, But $18,500 hmmm,,,,seems like this f/s thread will collect as much dust as your evo sittin in garage !!!
