Description:
Looking to sell my Evo 8 - 85,XXX miles, due to needs of house + college. I'm the 3rd owner (Purchased at 55XXX), but was stationed with both of the previous ones. Car was daily driven from 2008 to 2011 in Virginia, my weekend car when I moved up to Maine. Stored in garage during winter, so no salt rust.
Drives fine, no CEL's of any sort, or issues encountered. Oil has been changed 3-4k miles since I've owned the car, with Amsoil. Drivetrain fluids changed at 57k and 68k, tranny also at 78k (clutch). Water pump & timing belt changed at 55k, timing belt and head gasket at 72k (because I was in anyways, and there had been some rubbing on the belt). Tires have 700 miles on them - Falken Ziex 512.
Car was tuned by Mellon Tuning remotely when I had bolt-ons, and then by Spec Ops for the turbo/cams/injectors, etc... - dyno'd at 413WHP/385TQ
Previous owner had speakers + Viper alarm/remote start installed, As well as a turbo timer (thats non-functional now). I have the remotes for the Viper, but lost the backings, so a bit ugly.
Car had an accident the spring of 08 I believe (previous owner). He got sandwiched between a car and truck, had radiator, headlight, bumpers replaced at dealer. I clobbered a stick on one of the back roads up here with the lip, so that could probably use a replacement ($50 ebay special on now). Interior is in decent shape - some wear/tear, and crack on part of the gauge cover, when he added different color gauge backings. I put a galant HVAC unit in the old console storage, and dashdaq/phone mount where old HVAC was.
Car has sticky hot/could louver (TSB-055-003), and AC removed. Coolant gauge doesnt work, but I monitor it through the DashDaq, along with knock, boost, AFR.
