FS: 2003 RR Evo VIII 69k Miles - NV
SOLD!!!!!
For Sale is my 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII.
Asking Price: $15,500 obo - not open to trades at this time.
Year: 2003
Miles: 69,000-70,000
Color: Red
Reason for selling: I've had the car for six years and I haven't been able to build it to the specs that I wanted. I just don't feel like investing anymore time into a car I'm not really satisfied with anymore.
I purchased the car used in 2007 in Tampa, FL from a dealer, so It has had at least one other owner. The only thing on it at the time was an intake and manual boost controller. Since then it has traveled with me to Omaha and now Las Vegas. Current Set-up and tune dynoed at 342 WHP and 359 lbft on a dynapack.
The Good:
Kelford 272 cams
Hallman MBC
Injen Intake
Injen UICP
Ebay LICP
Megan O-2 Housing
RS*R TBE
Walbro 255
ACT HDSS clutch kit
Defi 60mm gauges.
60k service complete at 57k, to include timing belt, water pump, etc.
Current set up dynoed 342WHP/359lbft
Tein Springs
Stock Rims painted Black
Ventus RS3's installed just this summer.
The interior looks really good for a 10 year old car.
The Bad:
There's the normal rock chips from highway driving on the hood.
As of this ad, there is no front lip on it. Depending on how long it takes to sell, I plan on getting one painted and installed.
The Oil Temp Gauge doesn't ready anything currently because the sensor wire has shredded.
Rear 02 sensor is broken.
The passenger side door has a small bubbly area on it that looks like rust-through. I took it to Mitsubishi to see if they would cover it and they said it wasn't rust through, but it looked like someone did a really bad job and pulling out a door ding. Since it had been there before I bought it, there's really nothing I could do to prove otherwise.
The sun has started taking it's toll on the Vortex Generator I installed several years ago. I can remove it at buyers request.

Hey killakane, I'm from Vegas too. Up for a trade? 2007 Nissan 350Z, my first car that I ever bought and just paid it off 5 days ago. Pm me if u want to and u can check out my car if u want to do the trade.
2007 350Z has the HR engine on it which means dual throttle body (better air flow if u want to twin turbo it). KBB value of it is $16.5k, so depending on the condition on ur car, we can do a straight trade or a little cash on ur end.
