FL. Testing Waters. 2003 LY Built Evo 8

Hey guys, I'm testing waters here to see if the price I list for this car is fair to sell. I put in way too much money into it and haven't got the chance to enjoy it yet really, but have to sell it now unfortunately. I'm currently waiting on a new oem crank sensor to have it up and running again and get the motor broken into properly. It's a 2003 LY evolution 8 converted to 9 more or less in appearance. I'm am the second owner on this, I purchased it on May 2005. The motor has recently have been fully built, the chassis has 60k miles on it. Never has been in an accident or crash. clean title.

-stewart warner egt gauge fitted in the ash tray
-battery relocated to the back with 2 breakers (1 in the trunk, the other in the engine bay)
-greddy profec b boost controller
-aftermarket shifter bushings inside engine and inside the shifter.

engine.
-Fully built head, Brian Crower springs and titanium retainers, aftermarket lifters, ARP head studs

-single walbro 255 fuel pump

...I have speed density and a 4" intake pipe with filter going once the car is broken in.

I also have RC 1600cc injectors with a full blown double pumper with 2 255 walbros if I ever decide to go e85 in the future lol.

I was thinking maybe $24k??

What do you guys think?

Price does seem steep to some, but look at all of the mods he has done to the car and condition he has kept it in. Bump for a nice car, I have always liked your LY evo hate to see it go but hope it goes to a good home.

I'm definitely willing to lower the price quite a bit, just seeing what my car would be valued at.
If the buyer even wants, they can take all my stock parts as well lol.

I remember back in 2008 I had my LY EVO. I miss it lol. This car is clean man and I think the price is pretty fair especially for being that clean and whats done to it. I was just in Cape Coral at the end of November as well. GLWS

Well, before being built. It was tuned by Diiirk from awdmotorsports. it made 522/467 on 34 psi + methanol with a gt35r.

but this is a completely different setup (turbo, intake manifold, rods, pistons, speed density...etc etc.) I believe its capable somewhere in the mid 500's on 93 and if converted to e85, which I have the components to do so, higher 600's..of course, this is all under speculation...I wanted to get the motor to have a proper break in period before it gets an all out tune.

I'm not sure, I purchased it new as a gt37r and it has a .63 back housing.

this is the one, it is powdercoated chrome now and the back side is ceramic coated flat black

my old gt35r left and the new gt37 right

It isn't SSl, SSL was first introduced in 2005 models with ACD. Mines does have a sunroof, fog-lights, and aim able projectors with HIDs that came stock.

Closest airport would be the Southwest Florida International Airport.

Here are a few interior pictures, but its not the best since they were taken inside the garage. In a few days once I get the crank sensor in the mail, it will have a proper photoshoot with pictures of every aspect of the car.

I made it to fit a double din radio, but I never got one as of yet, I can always put it back and put the pioneer single din if anyone wish, or I'll include it all for both options.
