The good:
I bought this car in August of 2006 from Medina Mitsubishi in Ohio. I registered it in PA and then MD where the car currently resides. The title is clean and it has never needed warranty work. The drivetrain fluids were changed by me at or before every 15K miles with OEM mitsubishi fluids. The 60K mile timing belt maintenance was performed last year when it had 59K on it. All maintenance records available upon request which detail when the service was performed and with what parts.
The car has no door dings, dents, or scratches. It has of course never been in an accident of any kind. The hood and fenders had a 3M clear bra installed 2 weeks after purchase to protect the vulnerable mitsubishi paint. The car has Rally Armor mud flaps, also installed 2 weeks after purchasing the car to protect the paint on the sides of the car. It has no mechanical issues and has never needed to see service at the dealer. It still has the stock clutch and has never been launched.
The drivetrain is in excellent condition. It shifts like new and has no issues. The interior has also been well cared for. The rear wing is fade free. It shows the car has been garaged. Current tires are Kuhmo Ecsta MX with ~75% tread left and the wheels have no curb rash. The radiator fluid has been flushed with the proper fluid and the brake fluid has been flushed every 2 years as required by the manual. All maintenance has been done on time or before scheduled. I've done two oil analysis on the car and they both show the engine is healthy.
The bad:
The current key-fob intermittently won't open the car. I'm not sure if it is the battery, could be as it is 7 years old now. I of course have the second key fob that came with the car and it operates like new. Also I rebuilt the ACD pump this spring out of preventive maintenance. These items are known to go bad and the longer you wait the higher the chances it may not be rebuildable. It did have some corrosion but the rebuild went fantastic and now has stainless steel internals and has been sealed with mitsubishi grey RTV so it won't ever need done again. The ACD fluid was of course bleed during this service. Also the oil pressure light sensor went bad. This is another common problem. It was replaced by me during an oil change.
The car has been paid off for a number of years and I have the title in hand. It currently has a Jun BL exhaust on it and a zetronics wideband. The car will be returned to 100% stock condition before sale. PM me for additional details, contact information, and availability for test drives.
