04 Evo 8 For Sale

The car is located in SLC, UT
**Please read entire description** Up for sale is my 2004 Lancer Evolution 8 with 78,000 miles. This car is originally from California so it almost has zero rust. There isn't a thing on this car that doesn't work. It has had it's 60k maintenance check done. Which includes all fluid changes (transfer case, transmission, coolant) as well as a new timing belt, and spark plugs. Ever since I've owned this car I've only ran VR1 and Royal Purple full synthetic oils through it, which have been changed every 3.5k miles. This car has a ton of tasteful mods (listed below) but keeps the stock reliability as it only runs 20 pounds of boost (Only 1 pound more than stock) -- I'd estimate the wheel horsepower anywhere between 310whp to 330whp. I'm not in a hurry to sell, and If I don't get what I want for it I am just going to keep it. This car is worth every single penny. All of the mods would easily cost you $6K plus, and I'm low balling. It's still on the stock clutch, which gives you an idea of how well this car has been taken care of. It's an Evo, so yes it has been raced here and there.. but it has NEVER been beaten. I have never launched the car from a dead stop since I've owned it. The clutch still has plenty of life left in it.

The mods are as follows;
-Kelford 272 cams that were done 15k miles ago, which had the valve springs replaced (raises the redline to 8k)
-AEM full short ram intake, which uses a MAF
-Spoolin' UP Coil On Plug Kit, allows for greater tuning capabilities
-ETS lower intercooler piping
-Walboro 255 LPH fuel pump
-Full turbo back Greddy 3" exhaust (sounds awesome)
-Professionally tuned (I bought it from the previous owner already tuned)
-KW Variant 3 coil overs, which are 100% fully adjustable. (these alone would run you $2500 - $3000)
-Defi custom gauges. Has boost, exhaust temp, oil pressure and oil temp
-Hvac Gruppe-S gauge cluster
-Apexi turbo timer (also acts as an air flow meter)
-StopTech brake pads that were just replaced (they don't have an ounce of squeak)
-Brand new OEM rotors
-Steel braided brake lines, which gives a much stiffer pedal feel. Feels MUCH better than stock rubber lines.
-FQ400 spec wheels off the European Evo
-JDM headlights & tail lights
-JDM rear bumper, as well as a shaved (noseless) front Evo 8 bumper
-Shaved trunk (no keyhole)
-Bigger mirrors, less of a blind spot. They have a bluish hue to them. (Not sure what brand they are)
-Special UV absorbing tint
-Tires have about 80% to 90% tread left
-Pre-wired for subwoofers, already has an amp
-Viper alarm system

I have decided to slowly return some the car back to stock form. The coil overs, gauges, wheels and trunk will all be removed and replaced with stock components over the next little while. The performance modifications will remain on the car. As soon as this is all done, I'll be lowering the asking price.
