For Sale: 2003 EVO 8 Lightning Yellow in MD

For sale is my 2003 EVO 8 in Lightning Yellow.
Mileage: 184,411 (May climb because I drive it once a week)
Asking: $8000 Firm
Location: Laurel, Maryland

Title: Clean
I am the original owner of this car, and I have only ever used it as my daily commuter car. It has never been raced or taken to the track, which is sad I know. I have only replaced the clutch once after 135k miles, which shows how I babied this car. The clutch in the car is the only thing that is not OEM. It is an ACT 6 street clutch. It is much grippier than the stock clutch and still just as usable on the street.
The Good:
- The car is bone stock (except clutch), which means that it is far less likely that you will find a mechanical issue with this car as you would with one that has been modified.
- Car passed Maryland inspection 2 years ago when I moved to Md. It had ~178K miles at the time, so I am sure that it will pass inspection now
- The car had new tires put on it two years ago at inspection time. So they only have 7k miles on them. They are continental DWS all seasons which IMO is the best all around tire I have ever purchased.
- The car had new OEM rear shocks and struts installed at the time of inspection.
- Engine is still as strong as the day I purchased it and it still sounds like brand new.
- I had the Oil change ever 3-5k miles. Always using Mobile 1 Synthetic.
- A/C does work, even though the temperature setting knob broke off. I had the A/C compressor replaced about 3 years ago.
The bad:
- High miles of course.
- It is due for the 180k tune and timing belt change.
- The A/C temperature setting knob broke off and requires and new head unit (this is a typical evo8/9 issue).
- The carbon fiber wing epoxy is flaking off (also a typical evo8/9 issue).
- The is some very minor blistering of paint spots at the driver's rear wheel well and the passengers front well well (Pictures included)
- The trunk has some running paint lines (explained in the accident section, too faint to take a good picture of)
- The front bumper has screws holding the very bottom section to the rest of the bumper, this is due to front end parking in places that have very high curbs, like where I work. If you don't mind the look of the screws, it is much sturdier than getting a new stock bumper.
- The plastic shield underneath the car is missing a small plastic piece that holds the the plastic wheel well in place. I put a zip tie in its place and it works perfect. I also believe that this is due to my work parking issue.
Accidents:
- I was rear ended by a drunk driver several years ago. The damage was contained to the trunk area. They replaced the rear tray and the car was perfect once again.
- I backed into a mailbox a few years ago and put a nice crease in the trunk area. I went out of insurance to have the trunk fixed. When they repainted the trunk area, there were a couple of spots of running paint. I did not notice this until a couple of years later, and I had already moved from the area.
Price:
KBB sets a car in this condition in MD at $8500. I set the price at $8000 for a quick sale. This price is firm and I don't have to sell so please don't try negotiating.
Other issues:
I have the title in hand, but Maryland has a requirement that you provide the buy with a letter from the original lien hold stating that the car is paid off. I paid the car off several years ago, but don't have a copy of the letter stating so. I will have to ask Mitsubishi Credit to send me another copy. This may take a little time, but I am not sure if it is truly necessary to sell the car.

Rear driver and front passenger wheel wells respectively. There is a rain drops that make up part of the rear driver picture. I will try to take a better picture.

No compression test ever done. I was going to do one with my uncle last week because a buy asked it I could, however both my uncle and I agreed that once you hear the engine purr, a compression test is just a waste of time.
