TX/NM: Tarmac black 2005 Evo VIII
Located in El Paso, TX. Listed for $18k but willing to negotiate.
2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII. 94k miles. Turbocharged, All-Wheel Drive with locking differentials and an active center differential (selectable for Tarmac, Gravel, or Snow). 5-speed transmission that shift smoothly and has no issues. This car has been enjoyed but at the same time extremely well cared for. I have always used synthetic oil (currently Mobile One extended performance) including fresh oil in the transmission and rear differential.
Mods: Custom 6" fog lights molded in the front bumper, Swift Spec-R springs, Racing Brake ET500 pads, new Centric high carbon rotors, 3" Apexi turbo-back exhaust with high flow cat, ACT HD clutch, FIC flow modified 750cc injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Binary seat lowering brackets, Energy Suspension Rear diff and mustache bar bushings, restacked rear limited slip differential, aluminum radiator, Evo IX BOV, Innovate wideband AFR gauge (custom mounted), Autometer boost gauge, tuned by Boosted Tuning with dual maps for E85 and 91 octane, stock boost which can easily and safely be raised since all the supporting mods have been done.
It has all the normal Evo stuff, clean Recaro interior, Momo steering wheel, Brembo brakes, 17x8 Enkei rims with Hankook V12 Evo tires (not too much tread left). Everything works great, no issues at all. I'm only selling it because I bought another Evo.
This car won first place for the 2012 Pan Am SCCA season in the Rookies class and participated in the 2013 Dustball Rally 1000 alongside 20 other car including exotics like the McLaren MP4-12C and Audi R8 GT.
Serious inquires only. I am willing to negotiate a little bit on the price but no low-ballers or joy rides.
