Let me start by saying I am in no rush to sell it, I know what this car is worth and will not give it away! The only reason I am thinking of selling it is because I don't have the time to enjoy it.. I started a business in April of 2014 that takes up all of my time. I have only put 3,xxx miles on the car in the last year just do not drive it enough, to justify keeping it.. I have a daily driver that I put 80 miles a day on commuting to work. I am the second owner and spent 8 months searching the country on evo x forums, evoM forums, ebay and craigslist. I finally found the right car. A 1 owner PB GSR SSS with 7,xxx mile in New Jersey. I flew out there and drove it home!
The car spent majority of its time in Michigan, but saw 8 months in South Florida while I was finishing School. While I was living in South Florida I went to Fender Rolling King of Miami to have the rear fenders professionally rolled to accommodate the 18x9.5 wheels and 265/35 tires I run in the summer. The car is garaged at all times and has seen less than 1,000 miles of winter during the first year I had it. The car has not been out in the snow/salt the last three years.
All factory maintenance has been performed and as well as extra preventative maintenance. I run AmsOil synthetic and AmsOil filter with changes at 2,500-3000 miles. At 15,000 & miles I put Redline "cocktail" in the transmission and changed the Diff's with OEM fluid as well. At 30,000 miles I did another Tranny flush and refilled with the Redline Cocktail. I have 3 bottles of the “redline cocktail” left and will be doing another flush before sale to new owner.
The car has NEVER been launched, raced, or abused. I paid for this car in cash and have treated it as my baby. Anyone who has seen the car can attest to this!
Current Mods (vehicle is being sold stock at $28 obo)
AMS Black Upper and Lower Intercooler Piping
AMS Dual Catback(Very Rare, have all the hard ware and discs it came with)
Perrin Turbo Inlet Tube
Cobb Sf+ Intake
Cobb Accessport(running stage 2 LWG)
Enkei RPF1 18x9.5 +15 SBC finish(very rare) wrapped in 265/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires and OEM TPMS Rolled Rear Fenders
The ONLY Bad:
In March 2013, I was in Isla Mujeres, Mexico fishing for a month and left my car in my parent’s garage. The first thing I did when i got home was walk out to the garage to start the car. I noticed that my moms suburban was parked very close to my car and got a little too close. My little brother was driving it and barely scuffed the rear ¼ panel and rear bumper on the car. The amount of paint missing from the ¼ panel was no bigger than an inch while the rear bumper only had a fingernails size paint chip Being as particular with my vehicles as I am I had it professionally repaired, and repainted. It is very common with these cars, due to the soft clear coat, to get rockchips very easily, and due to the condition of the Michigan roads and Highways I had the body shop repaint the front bumper and the hood as well
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about the vehicle. I am located in Troy and can show the vehicle on weeknights or on weekends. The vehicle currently has the Enkei Wheels on it but I will be putting the Winter set up on possible this weekend.
