Up for sale is a Graphite Gray 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX SE. Body has 34,500 miles on it and only driven through one winter four years ago and has been garaged during winters after that. I am the second owner and I bought the car from the original owner with 7,000 miles. This is/was my project drag car but I’ve run out of funds and do not have the time to complete this project. I have ALL documentation of this car since day 1 and all receipt for each part that has been installed. It currently sits in a non-running condition with a cylinder head that ate one of the exhaust camshaft journals, jumped timing and ended up bending most of the intake valves due to an oiling issue. The short block still needs to be inspected.

The last time this car ran was on the dyno on June 24th, 2015 in which it made 520awhp/400awtq on a Dyno Dynamics dyno (600+awhp/450+awtq DynoJet numbers). This was on 93 octane @ 26psi. We switched over to E85 and had a freeze plug pop out and called it quits. The freeze plug issue was fixed a month later and straps were made to prevent the freeze plugs from popping out in the future. The engine was reinstalled in the vehicle on July 31st when it was started, ran/idled for 3 minutes and quit. ECU data was reviewed and at the time showed no signs of any problems (45psi of fuel/oil pressure). The valve cover was removed and that is when the valve train issue was discovered.

I have documentation of everything so if you want to see or know something in specific, feel free to ask, I am not trying to hide anything here.
