Title is clear and in hand
Bump. The synchro is bad again. 4th shifts in perfectly above 5k rpms but under that you have to rev match perfectly or itll lock out. 4th is still perfectly fine. I found another car I want to buy asap and want to get rid of this thing, $26,000 firm. Lets get this thing gone 602-400-3280
-Yes, this car is John Shepherd (Sheptrans/Shepherd Racing) old Evo. He was the original owner
-The 4th gear synchro was giving me occasional trouble when I bought the car. I changed the transmission fluid and discovered a couple small chunks of metal on the drain plug. I had the tranny opened by a shop here in AZ (WingzPerformance). 2nd gear was missing a few teeth, the 3/4 synchro assembly, and the 3/4 hub/sleeve were damaged. They were replaced with new parts and the transmission is going back into the car this week (1/22/17).
-Paint is still the original 2003 Mitsubishi paint. People are shocked when they find out it's the original single stage paint, pretty much perfect
-Motor was built about 4k miles ago by TSComp at the end of 2015. Album to that build can be found here:
-It made 750/559 at 36 psi on TSComp's dynojet. I had the tune adjusted for e54 (as opposed to e85) here in Arizona and it was a road tune so I don't have an exact number for the current tune.
-Brand new clutch in October of 2016, Quartermaster 8 leg.
